No matter what your age you will enjoy this little train ride. The 'Eyefull' Tower is a fantastic view. We've been many times with friends and family.

This is an experience not to be missed! We marvelled at how the hard work and vision of one man has brought so much pleasure to so many thousands of people who have taken a ride on this railway since he opened it to the public. A major engineering feat with unbelievable views from the top over the Coromandel and... More

This is not the cheapest of attractions but we are so glad we went on it. The railway is unique and has a great story behind it. The trip up the hill is fabulous and the view from the top, fantastic. There were no artists working when we were there but we so enjoyed our visit I recommend this attraction... More

Driving Creek Railway exceeded all of my expectations. It is an amazing showcase of engineering and there are surprises around every corner of the railway. Great for kids and adults of all ages. I'd recommend making a booking as it seems very popular and take a jumper or rain coat to be safe.

We were amazed at the concept the owner had to build the railway as a Tourist Attraction. Children would love this trip. Winding through the hills we also saw a unique way to support the hills using old wine bottles ! A worthwhile visit!

We had read about the railway and pottery but thought that we had missed the afternoon tour; however the summer shcedule was running and the train was held for us to pay and jump on. Friendly staff and an informative driver making this ride through the recently planted native flora a real treat. The railway is an amazing piece of... More

Driving Creek is the inspiration of one man who started it initially to as means of moving his pottery and materials. It has now been extended to a really lovely journey through New Zealand flora to the 'Eyeful Tower' with its 360 degree views over Coromandel. The drivers of the three trains are all veterans and extremely knowledgeable about the... More

We spent about 2 hours here looking around the shop selling pottery, books and art gallery before boarding the train. Track built entirely by Barry Brickell. Quirky pottery featured enroute is a must-see as too is the lovely scenery. At the top is the "Eyefull" Tower a wonderful wooden structure with amazing views all round of the bush. Recommend booking... More
