One of the modern wonders of the world, the Deltaworks. As to the park it is also a must see. For children and adults a nice and educational theme park. One can also experience other attractions. I like very much the boat ride viewing the marvelous infrastructure. More

Empire State building, Golden Gate bridge, Eiffel Tower... all these are man made marvels. Delta Works (also called Delta Werken) is everything but marvelous. From an engineering point of view, the idea of it is surely stunning. Yet, when you come to see it, it just doesn't take your breath away. Actually, it can. The moment I stepped out of... More

nice and learnfull experience but a bit expensive. 36 euros entry fee for 2 people is a lot. Food is also expensive and of average quality. Things that are broken or damaged on the property don't get fixed again. It shows a bit of a lost glory. Boat trip is nice. In march a lot is closed so we couldn't... More

This you must see when you visit the Netherlands. This is a piece of engineering that is an example for the rest of the world. Also the theme park Neeltje Jans is very nice to visit, also for kids of all ages. There is a windtunnel(to experience storms) a climbing wall and a boattour and lots of other stuff to... More

Wonderful and learning exposition about the delta works by the North sea. One price for everything : expositions, boat tour, seals and sea lions live shows, plays for kids, and specially walking inside the pillars and inside the dikes with the north sea and the closed inland sea almost within hand reach. Impressive.!! More

The location of the Neeltje Jans is one of the best on the Delta Works sites. It has a lot of potential. However, the park management apparently tries to be everything to every visitor and fails in delivering an exceptional experience. As a children's attraction and water park, it is lackluster and limited at best. As an engineering exhibition, it... More

For Dutch it may be of national interest, for foreigners it is more or less boring. In the pavilion old-fashioned exhibits and even a more out-dated film was shown. To visit one of the lock-gates we had to walk for a kilometer with definitely nothing to see. The walkway through one of the locks open to the public was signposted... More

The exhibit should hire a pedagodgical skilled person to help to put up the exhibit. For a person who is not speaking Dutch, it was a mess. Too bad since the topic interests me much. More

We visited the Delta works today (as it is commonly referred to). Both myself and my boyfriend are crazy for this kind of engineering marvel so we were very excited about the trip. Sadly it was average. The park is very much geared for children, and is a bit run down so if you have kids it would be a... More
