This was my second visit to the GaiaZoo, and I found it just as entrancing as the first time. We went on a bit of an overcast day with on-and-off rain, so it wasn't very crowded. There really is a stark contrast between GaiaZoo and ones I'm used to in the United States. The Zoo seems built into the forest... More

Great zoo and very animal friendly - lovely to see animals with so much natural space, which also allows them some privacy. I would especially recommend the Lynx enclosure. We arrived early and were able to see the young lynxs playing and pouncing on each other. Delightful! There is also a bird of prey exhibition twice a day, included in... More

GaiaZoo is a very modern zoo set into a small stream valley and parkland. The animals have good facilities here and they make a relaxed and natural impression. The grounds are meticulously maintained, the rather high entrance fees IMO justified. If you plan to visit more often, you can buy seasonal tickets that make it much more affordable. The one... We walked through the park, which has a terrific ambiance, and took our time a lot and still found that we just couldn't fill our time in the park. It was rather warm when we visited so sadly a lot of animals weren't very active. The park itself is beautiful though and it has a nice variety of animals (though... More

My husband, daughter and I spent a very enjoyable and fun day at the GaiaZoo. The enclosures are really spectacular and allow for up close and clear viewings of all the animals. And in the summer there are lots of baby animals to see! The entry fee is a little high so, if possible, plan to spend the whole day... More

A very nice Zoo. The animals are close and no big fences will bother you while watching the animals. There are a lot of playgrounds, one of them is a big dinosaur themed indoor playground. Outside is a nice dinosaur-merry-go-round.

Really pretty zoo. Nice enclosures, no overpopulation. Everything is really well taken care of. There is explanation in English so also great for tourists. One of the more beautiful zoos I know. Also a great play area with ropes for children (and adults if they dare)

Good resort to spend a couple of hours and there's enough for kids to enjoy like playgrounds and a dino-dome. No small cages and a half hour bird show hosted by a genuine bird lover. Absolutely worth a visit.
