It's a very pretty zoo and I enjoy the fact that you can find a lot of facts about the animals at their 'cage'. Althought they make the high season a little too long, not al animals were outside and not there are not as many shows as the real highseason....but they do charge it....

The zoo is beautifully laid out with very creative landscape architecture - many parts are very beautiful Rather than trying to feature huge numers of species , they seem to limit the species and do them very well. Thick glass is widely used and some animals (eg meerkats) are so close that they could be touched. One of the monkey... More

I've been there 2 times. Once was in winter (Dutch winter, I've to say). Gaia is the example of how the Zoo should be. The animals have huge spaces and caregiver are really professonal. My compliments!

This is probably one of the best zoo's in Europe. Spread over a large area, you will find all sorts of animals (not uncommon for a zoo), but they all have more space than any other zoo we have seen. The layout is interesting and they have added a part with reconstructed dinosaurs. Your children will love it.

Most wonderfull zoo of the Southpart of the Netherlands (Limburg). Animals live in very spacious places almost no fences. You can buy yr tickets on the internet. The wild bird show is fantastic, the best we have seen ever. The Zooworkers speak and work with a lot of love about their animals. Do not miss this Zoo.

This is a real well organized zoo. The shows with the animals are nice. We had great places at the bird show and saw them fly over really close. I saw a lot of zoo's and this one belongs t my top 3 list. Get your tickets on the internet so you don't have to pay the whole price.

Ok, they have the advantage of a more recent start than other zoos in the Netherlands, but the setup is great. Well worth a visit, perhaps even more than one.

This was my second visit to the GaiaZoo, and I found it just as entrancing as the first time. We went on a bit of an overcast day with on-and-off rain, so it wasn't very crowded. There really is a stark contrast between GaiaZoo and ones I'm used to in the United States. The Zoo seems built into the forest... More
