This exhibition is a must to see, almost all of the paintings of Vincent van Gogh (1853 - 1890) are on show painted during his short life. He was one of the most important painters of the 19th century, and actually many of his paintings were collected by the Museum Kröller Möller in Arnhem. Nevertheless, or because of it, the... More

We had seen something about this museum on a TV travel show, so when we were on a little driving tour we went to find it. We throughly enjoyed the museum, and the sculpture garden. We drove our car all the way through the National Park de Hoge Veluwe to the museum parking lot. That drive was fun too. Definitely... More

I normally write pretty long reviews, but the Kroller-Muller Museum is beyond a review. In fact, it is beyond the realm of museums in general. It is a story of a family, of a project, of a passion and vision -- and of great beauty. The museum itself and the grounds -- not to mention the art and sculpture --... More

. . . and back with a vengeance. Absolute high point of our week in Holland even eclipsing the revamped Rijksmuseum. Apart from the privilege of seeing such a concentration of Van Goghs all in one place everything about the Kroller Muller is a joy. There is also an beautifully maintained sculpture garden in the grounds. The wonderful notion of... More

A recent trip to the National Park Hoge Veluwe near Otterlo in the Netherlands was made even better by a bit of mixed weather. The entrance fee to the park is just €8 and includes the option to pick up a free bike. I've heard that on very sunny days and holidays or if you arrive to late there are... More

This is a museum for all, especially families, but also for art lovers. The museum and sculpture garden has something for everyone: a place to enjoy and to smile. One current theme of "Vincent is Back" is very worthwhile. Then, of course, there is the park with its thousands of bikes for anyone to use. This is a place to... More

This museum is not the easiest place to get to but it is not to be missed if you are an admirer of Van Gogh. It is possible to day trip it from Amsterdam; however we took a bus from Arnhem. Although we had to change buses the connections were easy and the bus drivers were very helpful. The museum... More

After a rather ramshackle journey to the hinterlands of Ottorloo from Amsterdam (tram, train, and bus) we finally found ourselves at the entry of the famed Kroller-Muller museum complex. The museum is very remotely located within a national forest. Please be aware that if you take the public bus to the museum you are required to get off the bus,... More

For anyone who appreciates the work of Vincent Van Gogh, and for anyone who is interested in the sheer beauty of integrating a museum into incredible surroundings, this is a must. It contains the 2nd largest collection of Van Gogh's work in the world, and it opens itself to the hundreds of acres of surrounding woodlands in the most unimaginably... More
