We were traveling back from Palais Het Loo in Apeldorn on our way to our rental in Gouda so we had to stop. We didn't have much time on the first visit so we went back again for a full day with my Dutch friend, Bas. We got our free white bikes, which were in really good shape, and pedaled... More

ACTIVITIES: You can trek or bicycle. The best is to combine, for example trek one way one of the trails for 2 hours (10km) and then bicycle back. The white bikes are for free and in good condition. The finalize the tour by Van Gogh so you will have a great day. ROUTES: Pick a route that is more in... More

This Dutch national nature park is great if you like hiking or biking. At also offers a great museum with paintings of the famous Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh. Their collection is impressive and it will give you great impression on the historical life of "Van Gogh" and Dutch people. But for those who enjoy nature and wildlife. You will... More

A perfect day trip from many locations, bring a picnic lunch, park at the entrance gate, take a free bike, then cycle to the Museum first to savor the many Van Goghs, then back on the bike to explore the park, have your picnic and see some sites. It's an ideal day among the best nature and man has to... More

We visited the park as part of a day spent at the Kroller-Muller museum. We did ride the free white bicycles for about 30 minutes. If I had more time, I would have spent the whole day riding around the park, and perhaps even had a picnic.

We had a lovely day cycling into the centre of the park on the white bikes and visiting the magnificent sculpture gardens. However, when we returned to the visitors' centre for our bikes there were none left. There were lots of people standing around apparently with the same problem. There were lots of bikes put aside because they had flat... More

What could be better than a pleasant bicycle ride though the civililized, safe roads and pathways of this forested park, stopping for several hours at the awesome Kröller-Müller Museum in the park's middle. One could go on and on about the museum itself, with the world's 2nd largest collection of van Gough and a spectacular sculpture garden, but in this... More

This is really a paradise for bicycles. Not only you can grap one for free, you also can bring your own. Tours are from 3kms till 30kms one way. Excellent also for kids as there are children bicycles and the whole park is oriented to them. The museum Downunder will certainly have a lot of success with them. The restaurant... More

The best part of this visit to Holland was our time in Otterlo visiting among other The Hoge Veluwe National Park. We entered the park (8,80 euro for a day ticket) three times. On the afternoon the first day, early morning and midday on day two. We used the White biked (free) to take us around the more than 40... More

The national park sparked my interest when I found out that they had a private collection of Van Gogh paintings displayed at the Kröller-Müller Museum inside the park. That and the thought of sand dunes made it a done deal. The sculptures garden is beautiful and quite involved with many interesting paths that take you to the most surprising exhibits.... More
