This National Park has several areas where dogs are allowed to run free and to play with other dogs. A big areal is located near the village of Appelscha. We have done the "Natte Neuzen" roundwalk. Furthermore is this a large area with a great difference in the type of fields: forest, sand dunes and lakes.

This is one of the 2 national parcs in the council of westerveld. Its an area of outstanding natural beauty. This parc has everything you can wish for to enjoy yourself, its great for cycling, walking, hiking, running, mountainbiking, horseriding and there are many routes. The landscape is so nice and various, from pinetrees to sanddunes and mooreland and little... More

The natural forest is easily accessable by bicycle and makes a great family holiday location. For beginners, young and old, the flat smooth concrete cycle paths are safe and take you amongst the woods. There are a few cafe stops along the way and lots of natural views. We visit Diever each year for a great family time.

One of the last area's in the Netherlands where you can experience the typical Dutch peat land. With nearly extinct plants, lots of birds which are using all the small pools to rest and eat.

The park has a wonderful network of cycle paths through hills, woods and heath. We did an afternoon loop but could easily have spent days exploring.

We spent the day cycling through this national park on the bike paths. It was well sign-posted and a lovely way to spend the day.

We walked the moors, followed sandy paths past lakes. Gorgeous scenery completed with wild deer and flocks of sheep. There are benches and picnic tables throughout for a picnic in a very quiet, undisturbed part of the country. Highly recommended for hiking and cycling. Great trail system.

The forest is beautiful, there are good hiking trails, these are easy to follow with colored poles. The hikes are typically 4 - 5 kilometers. We've seen not much repose during the walks.

This national park offers a glimpse of Holland as it was in the past. There are woods, marshy areas, grasslands, fields of heather to name a few. Throughout you'll find many hiking and biking paths.
