Beautiful marina

All very well maintained, lots of bars, restaurants and shops to while away the day! Slightly more upmarket than the rest of Playa Blanca, but not snobby in any way.

This large marina has many beautiful, very large yachts and in February, with the wind, the masts and ropes all make a noise. This makes quite a pleasant background to a stroll round the perimeter. There is a market twice a week and the area is thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. There are several free public toilets, also kept clean. We... More

Relatively new area comprising of medium to good class shops, cafes, restaurants and marina. A better than average market takes place every Wednesday and Saturday. Nice area for a walk on a warm evening looking at the many boats and enjoying a drink.

The whole atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the boats numerous and interesting. The twice-weekly market is not run-of-the-mill and offers unusual stalls. Just beware of the large, fixed metal balls along the walkways as they can be lethal.

Pleasant area except on Wednesday and Saturday mornings when the market takes up all the space. We especially liked the restaurant Petite Marmite - good food and wine a little more expensive than in the main area of PB

First time down to the Marina Rubicon and we were just so happy to be there. Lovely walks all around it, great choice of restaurants and shops surrounding it. Lovely to see young sailors out in their sailing dingys and a feeling of calm and tranquility abounds here.

If you are staying in Playa Blanca, a walk along the front to the Rubicon Marina is really pleasant. Nice Restaurants, and an interesting place.

Nice place to sit and people watch, eat and drink. There I a market here on Wed. There are several hire car places here and they are cheaper than in the hotels, even though they are the same companies!
