Nice area

Nice clean area with good views, lots of shops. The market on Wednesday and Saturday is not worth visiting though.

Cosmopolitan area with nice restaurants and craft and clothes market Saturday and Wednesday. It's interesting to watch the multitude of large fish in the harbour. Throw some bread in and see the frenzied feeding. Relaxing to sit watching the world go by whilst having a cold drink or coffee.

Sailed into the marina on the Friday and wasn't sad to leave it on the Sunday. Has all the facilities, but as artificial at the Hotel Volcán. Market sells the usual tat.

The marina was approx 25min walk from our hotel and worth a visit, nice little shops, water features, bridges, fish, clean toilets and a great Weds & Sat market, not full of the usual tat, the stalls weren't repeated with the same items like Teguise market and the stall holders weren't intimidating.

We visited on market day. Walked around marina and market, fed the fish. Nice morning. Market held on Wednesday between 9 and 2. Lots of hand crafted goods and some of the usual replicas.
