very smart marina, market there twice a week which is busy and has great buskers by the bars for when you have done enough shopping and fancy a quiet drink.

Really lovely place easy to walk to from most places on the seafront via the coastal path - this runs for miles from Papagayo area to the lighthouse in Faro Park. We do this walk and stop off for drinks and then a spot of lunch (lani's snack bar is our favourite ...good staff who have been there years). We... More

The marina was right next to our hotels, wonderful on an evening with very nice restaurants/bars (some very impressive boats) the sunsets were beautiful. The shopping on the marina is very good with very nice tasteful stores to accommodate most pockets (No tat to be had around there!) there is also a busy tourist market there twice a week if... More

Restaurants offering many different choices for all types of tastes. Great for a quiet stroll after dinner or just to look at the very impressive boats.

We found that for mid-July it was a bit quiet and lacked a bit of atmosphere but the couple of cafés and bars there offered great food and was a perfect stop off on way to playa Blanca. Tip: pick up a barraquita from one of the cafés - one for the coffee lovers.

Really nice place to have a walk around and grab a drink from. Defiantly worth a visit. Take some bread and feed the fish.

Had a great meal at Casa Roja and the marina itself was beautiful and full of potential but it looked a little tired and as though it needed some investment in places.

Beuatiful marino area to the East of Playa Blanca. Bars, shops and restaurants more upmarket, wonderful to sit by edge of sea. One of waiters gave the children bread to feed the fish, was great to stand over the little wooden bridges and see the vast amount of fish in the clear waters coming for the bread. Also climb up... Was interested to go and look around the market here on Saturday and was worthwhile for a couple of hours, few nice bars to have a drink at too.
