With a good variety of quality, reasonably priced, bars/restaurants and some very nice shops it has to be said that this is a very pleasant place to spend some time, for a shop, a stroll, a drink, and a snack. Feeding the fish seems to be a popular pastime as well. My other half was impressed with, both the price... More

A lovely 25 minute stroll along the promenade from playa Blanca is the marina rubicon. Nice restaurants, bars with fab views. Wee market Saturday and Wednesday. Pretty and a change from playa Blanca village. Stayed at the villas rubicon which are a stones throw from the marina and good property to stay in.

There is a good market on Wednesday and Saturday, nice places for coffee, clean public loos! Many restaurants which we will try at some point. But lovely just to walk around, people watching.

Nicely laid out, great selection of restaurants/bars/cafes. Small selection of varied shops, and popular market (non-food) twice weekly.

The quality of merchandise in these markets was of good quality, and priced very reasonably. You will be able to buy gifts and souvenirs without venturing anywhere else. The restaurants here are plentiful too. We ate at Little Italy, and although the venue didn't look terribly inviting inside, we had the most delicious meal at a good price.

This is a lovely little oasis of peace and tranquility after the hustle and bustle of Playa Blanca - except on market days (Wednesday and Saturday) when it has hustle and bustle aplenty! There are a whole host of different restaurants from the budget-style Tex Mex to the Michelin-style offerings of Casa Roja, the calm elegance of El Mirador and... More
