On the advice of a previous visitor, I booked a table here about a week in advance to make sure we got a sea front table as there were a lot of us. This was easy enough to do online, but they didn't get back to me. Was a bit annoying but when I went and checked when I got... More

I've wanted to visit CDM for years and 2014 was the realisation of my dream. We came by coach, took a catamaran out and watched the sunset from there. I think this is possibly the best way to experience the sunset as you're not battling crowds of people who've been at CDM hours already. Later on after we moored we... More

tried to get a table here about an hour before sunset but couldnt, this is on the sunset strip, I was under the impression that cafe del mar was the only option here (which it isnt) there is another bar on either side. the beers here were €7.50 per bottle, the place next door was €5. There is a corner... More

i am a cafe del mar fan been coming back and forth for decades and i must say that the current cafe del mar is a bit commercial. gone are the days when you would have an eclectic down to earth vibe with real musicians and tourists that just want to kick back and enjoy the ambient music. now its... Its where the cool kids hang out... go early to get the best seat. drinks/cocktails are circa 10 euros each but its worth it to watch an amazing sunset with cool atmospheric music to set the mood, After the sun goes down there is free entertainment on the beach and great music from famous Djs.

After 20 years of knowing the famous Cafe Del Mar in San Antonio Ibiza, we finally had a chance to experience everything. From the legendary Jose Padilla to the famous sunset strip it was indeed surreal and an experience of a life time. We were there for the 34th Anniversary party of cafe del mar and Jose Padilla graced the... More

Well, it had to be done really didn't it? The Sunset is fantastic and the atmosphere is great. The drinks are expensive, the service slow (you have to pay for each round as you get it). They defiantly need more staff! We had Pizzas and they were rubbish! I do however totally recommend a visit, just the once however.
