Sicily has a cornucopia of Greco-Roman, Arab-Norman and Baroque architecture, all within a small island. It has an incredibly beautiful, wild, natural environment, friendly helpful people and luscious food. Paolo helped me design a customised, solo tour for April- May, using the lovely Agriturismo Leone as a base in the SE for 5 nights, the suberb Serpotta 10 apartment for... More

We have just returned from a wonderful 6 day tour of Sicily with Handy Sicily Tours. We cannot speak highly enough of our driver/guide - Paolo Mortarello who, apart from being an excellent and safe driver was unfailingly good humoured, polite and caring of two older ladies. We stayed in two excellent Agritourismo as well as in good quality hotels... More

We chose Sicily for a wedding anniversary trip in mid-June. We wanted an interesting yet relaxing time and the trip met all of our expectations. Each day our guide picked us up promptly and expertly guided us to the sights of the day. Paolo Mortellaro and Lucca were wonderful and each of the other guides was equally personable and professional.... More

There is an immense amount of history to see and culture to experience in Sicily, it would be very easy to exhaust oneself yet still miss major attractions......hence the value of a good guide, Paolo certainly fitted that bill. He was very professional in the way that he organised the 'nuts and bolts' of transport, hotels, coffee breaks, meals etc.,... More

We made a list of all the sights we would like to see in Sicily and then looked for a tour to provide the experience. Paolo's is the only one which can do it. In 11 days we saw the most amazing Unesco sites, with layers of history from the Ancient Greeks up to modern day. We covered virtually all... More

After some intensive planning with Paolo for a 6 day 5 night tour in Sicily, we arrived in Palermo on a Sunday and were picked up by Luca in a comfortable Mercedes, proceeding to Segesta, where Luca provided background and historical details. Our tour included Erice, Mozia, Selinunte, Agrigento, Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Noto, Syracuse, Villa Romana, a trip through the... More

Thanks to our guide Paolo our group of six enjoyed a really wonderful holiday. Comfortable travelling in the Mercedes van, great accommodation choices, tours were well structured and informative. We ate very well including all the home cooked meals at our farm stay. Sicily is a magic spot, the archeological sites are breathtaking. Can recommend Handy Sicily as the way... More

Paolo Mortellaro was the best guide we could have asked for on our tour. We were with him most of April 17, 2015, and it could not have been better! Seeing Agrigento and the Roman Villa was so informative and Paolo could tell us anything we wanted to know about the history, etc. He is indeed, an excellent guide, and... More

Paolo Mortellaro and Paolo Gallo each led us for 3 days. Their English was impeccable, everything was as promised, they were considerate and sensitive to our needs. The car and driving were professional. Their restaurants combined delicious foods with views. Our high expectations were exceeded. The farmhouse food was exceptional, except the meat which was mediocre. It desperately needs a... More

Paolo was our tour guide for the day, taking us to Agrigento (Valley of the temples) and the Roman Villa. He was kind, courteous, well informed and funny!! He also speaks English very well. We had a fantastic day as a result of his efforts - I would recommend him specifically and Handy Sicily to anyone visiting Sicily!!!
