I visited this Dom St Blasien at the end of August at the end of our 4 day trip through Switzerland, Austria, and Germany and I was pleasantly surprised at how magnificent this is. I only added this to our list of things to see because it was right on our route from Titisee to Mulhouse Airport, but now I... More

We were able to park free very close to the church. We were in awe just standing in view of this amazing structure. It took us a while to go inside because we were so amazed by the outside! Once inside, it is very white and beautiful. Don't miss it if you are in St. Blasien!

The Dom is a must see which is located just 20 min drive from Schluchsee! Inside you will see Marble work which will make you to wonder.. The Cathedral is located in a calm and quite location surrounded by nice cafe.

I have had the privilege of visiting the Dom St. Blasien on two occasions. To find an architectural marvel like this in a tiny village was an amazing find. If you find yourself passing through the black Forest, find the time to visit.

I'm living close to St. Blasien. Though, still fascinated and touched by every visit in the white dome. Recently by chance we benefited from one of the organ pianists practicing, just fascinating. In particular bank holiday services are worthwhile attending. Those days the attached jesuit international boarding school pupils would attend and respective padres lead the service. If you'd wish... From the outside it looks impressive but not spectacular, however once you enter your breath is taken away with the beautiful interior. Entry is free although a donation box is by the door, there is a small museum inside, albeit in German. Would be nice to have a foreign language leaflet to explain the history. A lovely little town with... More

Always stunning to see this big gotic church in this small town. It is worth to stop and have a look inside the town and the church, potentially with a snack in one of the many coffee shops around.

Situated in a nice, peaceful town in the Black Forest. The cathedral is beautiful inside, all white and peaceful, with prayer rooms to the side. It is free to enter, but it is requested that you respect the silence of the church, which everyone did while I was there. There are many areas to explore inside the cathedral. Candles and... More
