So much to see and do here,loads of tanks from all eras and conflicts. The different themes are great from the Gulf War to The 1st World War. The tanks are all in superb condition and the information boards about each one are well worth a read. The highlight of the day was seeing some of the tanks in action... More

Great day out and we loved the trench and WW1 experiences..... The cafe however is dreadful. Filthy, exceptionally noisy and dreadful food. Take a picnic or dat before you go.

I wanted to take my young boys to the tank museum, as my grandfather used to work there many years ago. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and were there until it closed. Loads of interesting vehicles and interactive exhibits for the boys. They liked it so much they asked to go back again the next day but taking daddy too... More

Went here with my son (8yrs old) and we both loved it, loads to see and do, tanks of all ages, interesting facts and figures, displays and also a live tank demonstration to see them in action, all in all a great day or half out. It is worth queuing for the tank you can go in very interesting inside... More

What a great day out! My boys aged 6 4 and 22months loved the day! It seemed quite expensive for a museum but it was well worth the money....we were early in and they literally had to kick us out as they were closing! Was very well laid out with lots to see and do. It has a relaxed feel... More

What can I say what a fabulous place to go the only downside is the cafe is expensive but the upside is when u buy a ticket u can return for free within a year as it turns into an annual pass the ride which u pay 3 quid for was great apart from going up and over the mound... More

Bovington Tank Museum is a fantastic day out, hundreds of tanks and armored vehicles in the halls from WW1 to the present day all presented with informative details. If you want to see some real military hardware, this is the place to visit. The location is in Dorset. It is a couple of hours from London.
