We just loved Tekapo springs. Kids spent many hours on the big slide and I lounged in the hotpools and read my book. The view is sensational and lets face it the water in Lake Tekapo is far to cold to swim in. Food was good and the staff were excellent and very helpful. Showers clean and modern. Yep highly... Three large hot pools - all very well kept. Hardly anyone there when we were there. View over the lake is fantastic. Staff very helpful and the admission fee is very reasonable. Spend half a day there just relaxing in the hot water and sun. Tremendous. Recommended.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We are thrilled that you had a great experience. We are about to head into our change of season and get ready for the winter. If you haven’t already, come back and enjoy the outdoor ice-rink and the snow tube – both awesome activities! Of course soaking in the hot pools... More

Tekapo is a gorgeous area with amazing landscape on the shores of Lake Tekapo in central South Island. It is a beautiful area all year round. The Hot pools are 3 pools, each having a different temperature. One is very warm so for safety reasons is adults only. I have been here a few times and have always found space... More

Having seen gorgeous photos of Tekapo Springs online, I thought it looked totally amazing and a must-do on our trip around the South Island. Upon arrival, I discovered that reality did not quite match up to what I had seen online. As is often the case with hotel photos, the pools looked bigger and better online. I was surprised at... Thanks for your feedback. I can assure you that all our photography is original! Great to hear that your boys enjoyed the Trippo so much and that the cafe offering was good value. This has been an amazing summer and hotter than usual! This has certainly slowed the use of our summer tube down a bit with people opting to... More

My partner and I stopped off at Tekapo Springs to break a long drive and provide some relief for my injured back. On entering the pools we discovered that the temperatures were well below the advertised temperatures of 37 and 39 degrees. We persisted for awhile in the hope that it was a temporary dip in the temperature, but we... More

Thank you for taking the time to review Tekapo Springs. It is unfortunate that you did not have the best experience here and our pool temperatures were not at the advertised heat. We have been experiencing high winds in the Tekapo area oven summer which has an impact on our pool temperatures. When this occurs it is procedure that our... More

Our two day pass and treatments were paid for as a Christmas present and whilst we had a lovely time (treatments particularly lovely) it was quite a challenge to get the reception to understand that it had been paid for and what we were booked in for. 15 minute discussions on both days!! They were very friendly about it but... More

We went to the pools at the end of one of our days. We have been a few time and knew what to expect. There are a variety of hot pools of various temperatures and slides and other attractions in other parts of the complex. Very popular, and I would imagine that it would be heaven on a cold winters... Thank you for taking the time to review Tekapo Springs. It is unfortunate that you were under the impression that the complex was much larger - this is not something that we like to portray.
