The reef off of Maragogi is beautiful although the snorkling isn't great. I didn't see a huge amount of fish. The beach is nice, but there are jellyfish in the water and on the beach. Several people were stung while I was there.

Maragogi, as most of the places in the brazilian northeast is sunny most of the year, and even when it is reaning the temperature doesnt change much. A good... More

The thing that impressed us the most was the water. It is very pleasant to be in for a long time. It's warm, quite calm and not too deep. The restaurants and bars around are nice too but beware of the children walking around trying to con you or steal from you. At night it can get VERY dodgy so... More

blue sea, coconuts and multicolor litlle boats! Not too busy, brasilian football, bars. Possibility to go diving with a restaurant, to rent a boat or buggy. Or just walking et swimming is good!

i liked the beach and the town better than the boat ride to the reef. The beach is big and long. People like to walk on the beach and by the shops. It has the feel of a small resort town. A visit to the offshore reef is nice for pictures.

This place is unbelievable... It's literally a natural pool. When you put your feet on the sand in the middle of the ocean and see everything crystal clear, and all the fishes come close to you (cause they are use to humans feeding them, of course), it's great. The boat Crüe give us fish food and they come eat out... More

This is the right place both for adults and children. A very beautiful, clean and beautiful beach. Worth the visit.

What is called "The Maragogi Beach" is really the urban beach of a municipality that has many other superior beaches. This is the place you set off on catamarans to see the famous tropical pools that are miles into the lagoon. There are many better beaches with great places to stay and enjoy. But, if you crave a small town... More

Since all the reaturants that offer the ride to Gales are there, the water is always full of catamarans, jangadas and boats floating around. Though the water is really pretty, you feel like there's too much going on and it's best to look for a calmer place to stay and unwind. In other words, it's a good place to take... More

It's a nice place to relax and swim. The visit to the natural pools, in the middle of the ocean, is nice, but only when the tides are low. It's beautiful, but nothing really special. Only one day is necessary to cover everything there. It's better to stay at Porto de Galinhas and take the one-day visit to there.
