Incredible experience!

Hard to describe the color of this natural pool! I attached a picture and it says by itself how amazing the experience was. If you go to Maragogi, this place is a must!!!

We got to Maragogi beach and we took a boat to get to Galés. We paid a R$ 65 fee and we thought it was a bit expensive as we were not sure of what we were going to find. However, when we got there we were amazed by this place! As it was winter (July), the water was not... More

Very fun trip, we rented a boat from a local restaurant and did a more private tour. it was definitely worth it. DO NOT go in the monster tour boats with hundreds of people, its the same price as the small private boat. WE paid around 60 per person. The coral is nice, but don't expect Caribbean coral. There were... More

It was disappointed trip...the place is full with turist walking and i was not able to see almost any fish. I took a boat lincesed by the Hotel Jangadeiros and the boat was very old and noisy. It is not expensive R$65 with the equipaments for snorkeling. In my opining they should separete the boats and them will not be... More

The Gales is a nice place for those who likes snorkeling! The water is transparent, green and warm! Just remember to check the tides tables, because the agencies do not organize the tour when the low tide is to late or to early. Also because the lower the tide, the more you will enjoy your tour! So, maybe it is... More

Amazing! For beginners at scuba diving there is a great opportunity for a guided dive, when you have the chance to see a lot of different, colorful fish. The water is a little deep though, not for children under 4 feet tall.

Like the locals say, but beautiful place worth snorkeling. They try to get you to scuba dive, not worth it as the waters are too shallow.

The natural pools are the top tourist attraction here. There are daily boats to visit them, the price may be a bit high (as expected), bit still worth it and you can make a deal with the sales guy. There are three of them to visit: Galé Principal (largest and less well preserved due to long time exploration), Taocas (also... More

Maragogi has the 3rd. biggest coral reef in the world (losing its place only to Australia and Mexico) and Gales are one of the beautiful natural swimming pools formed by it. Many companies offer rides to it, so you have to look it up before making up your mind on which one you should choose. You can always check it... More
