Omar is awesome! That is exactly what both my 13 yr old and 11 year old said after our trip today. He was great with both boys talking them through how to land the fish. By the second fish the 11 yr old felt like he was a pro. Amazing time. Thx Omar.

I'll be extremely honest, I don't have experience in Fishing.. In fact this was my first experience so ever.. and will not be my last with Omar. He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He told me exactly what to do, He's the savvy guy and knows how to run his business.Elvia was really nice and professional. The emotion of catching... More

If you are planning a tarpon fishing trip in PR there is no other Capt. than Capt. Omar of Caribbean Outfitters in San Juan. This man eat, sleeps, drinks tarpon. Besides his family, there is nothing more, he is passionate about. Tarpon blood runs in his veins. Don't be fooled by other tarpon boats, there is only one tarpon Capt.... More

I have spent hundreds of hours in boats and fishing for many species, mostly freshwater. I am a student of tackle, equipment and the experience. I just love it My recent afternoon with Omar was the best. His Shimano equipment is superb, the lines are calculated, the boat (24" Pathfinder) is clean and four of us had a great time.... More

First I'd like to say that anyone that gives Capt. Omar a bad review just doesn't know anything about fishing, period. I've been out 5 times with Capt. Omar and he is by far the best guide I've been with. He is certainly the most educated guy I've been on a boat with when it comes to the lagoon. He... More

Took the family deep sea fishing for the first time. The captain Kevin and mate Victor did nothing but drive the boat and it seemed way to fast. For six hours they barely talked to us. Told us nothing about the water or Puerto Rico and showed us nothing. Completely awful fishing guide. Didn't see any other boats and didn't... More

I revisited the Master of the Silver King.....Captain Omar Oracca....I would call him a guide but he is more than that a teacher and a friend. Omar does not treat you like a client but as a close family member . I wanted to catch my first tarpon on the fly with Omar and he made it happen. He was... More

My wife booked a charter trip with Caribbean Outfitters for my birthday on January 31st, 2015. I have fished all of my life but this was my first deep sea outing so I didn't know exactly what to expect. We arrived 45 minutes early and our boat masters Kevin and Victor were ready to hit the water. All bait, rods... More

I have been tarpon fishing three other times in other areas. On two of those trips, I didn't catch anything and the guides were not overly concerned about whether I had a good time. I did catch a really nice one in the Keys a couple of years ago with a good guide. But, Omar was by far the best... More
