We left the Dock before sunrise, and stopped where some local gentleman were catching perch. Omar purchased a dozen or so of these. We then traveled down river, where Omar used a cast net to capture anchovies. At that point the dawn was just breaking, and the birds were starting to sing. It was slightly overcast with passing sprinkles. When... More

Capt. Omar put us on the tarpon and we caught 3. He is an amazing fisherman inshore/offshore. Best tarpon fishery in Puerto Rico. If your in Puerto Rico j definitely recommend to come fishing with Omar.

Since the 2nd grade in 1984, I dreamed of Tarpon fishing I watched on ESPN. All charter websites indicate an "average" of 2 to 5 tarpon hits per trip, not actual fish landed in the boat. We had 6 hookups in the first 20 minutes! My wife and I ended up putting 3 in the boat, dropped one at the... More

Tarpon fishing was a blast. You can sit back with a cooler of beers and listen to Omar tell you all about the art of catching tarpon. There's no doubt he is the most knowledgable angler when it comes to tarpon and we were lucky enough to haul in four fish. It was an amazing time and I was upset... More

Omar lives for fishing and it shows in the trip he provides. I try booking the best guides and captains wherever I go, and Omar did not disappoint. Over Thanksgiving week, I took four inexperienced anglers on a six-hour offshore trip and they caught enough mahi to feed 45 hungry family reunion attendees, with plenty left over, along with a... Was able to land about a 90lb tarpon with capt Omar. He was very informative and tried hard to find more fish but they wouldn't cooperate. Overall great experience and would recommend Omar to anyone.

I have known Capt. Omar since before he started his charter business back in 1994. He is the best there is at what he does. He is honest, hard working and a very professional fisherman. Put yourself in his hands and he will do everything possible to get a fish on your line!

My family was scheduled to go with Captain Omar in July. He called me the morning of the trip and told me that conditions were not good for fishing and recommended cancelling the trip. He gave me back a full refund of our deposit. He could have took us on a trip and we would not have known anything. I... More
