My family was scheduled to go with Captain Omar in July. He called me the morning of the trip and told me that conditions were not good for fishing and recommended cancelling the trip. He gave me back a full refund of our deposit. He could have took us on a trip and we would not have known anything. I... More

While the seas were not our friend on this particular day, we understand that there are good days fishing and bad days fishing. The ocean wasn't very friendly on the day we selected for our expedition. We were hit w/ 4 - 6 foot unpredictable swells. Omar and Elvia were extremely professional, accommodating. We weren't the only charter that came... More

I booked this trip because I've always wanted to go "marlin fishing".. I booked a Six hour deep sea fishing trip with my wife and my cousin and although we didn't land a marlin we did manage to catch a couple of big mahi mahi!! Kevin and Oscar were our guides for the trip and both seemed very knowledgeable. Elvia... More

In my opinion, Captain Omar is the best fishing guide in Puerto Rico. He is the most professional guide I've ever had the pleasure to fish with. My 2 sons and I fished for tarpon with him in early July. Omar knows tarpon so don't waste your time looking at other guide services if you want to catch one. My... More

First, I don't really write something just to write it. But this experience, I felt, needed something said. I was debating and trying to research a good, trustworthy, experienced fishing boat for a deep sea fishing adventure on my vacation to Puerto Rico. I found Caribbean Outfitters. I left a message with not much confidence they would even get back... More

Booked a tarpon fishing trip with capt Omar while we were vacationing in Puerto Rico last week. Had the most incredible time fishing and talking to Omar. Only caught 1 tarpon but we battled high winds all morning. I would highly recommend booking a trip with captain Omar. He'll even my wife had a great time!

My wife and I had an awesome trip with Captain Omar. He was professional, a pleasure to be around and a heck of a tarpon guide. This dude is the original tarpon chaser. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go again.

This was my first Tarpon trip so I didnt have much of an idea what to expect. Omar put my girlfriend and I on fish all morning, but we were only able to land one, my fault entirely, the tarpon set on a fly rod is not th easiest thing in the world to pick up. Omar was very patient... More

I shared very special memorial fish with Captain Omar. Yes, the day was quite tough condition, strong wind, quite a few bite, many other anglers...Captain Omar make his best effort to catch Tarpon. After lost two big Tarpon, I finally catch 18lb Tarpon at the end of fishing trip! The fish was not big comparing average but it was very... More
