First off the location is awesome. I tried kite boarding in Long Beach, CA last year and it was so crowded with people and other kiters that I didn't really feel comfortable learning there. Isla Verde has relatively few if any other kiters during the week ( weekend picked up a bit) and perfect water (no wetsuit needed). So it... More

We spent two days kiteboarding with them and they were great! 15-20 knots both days, beautiful, and safe beach. The instructors were well qualified and nice! You do need to reserve lessons as it is a small shop and they want to give you individual attention. They have jet ski support and got my husband and I riding both directions... More

I was fortunate to have a lesson with Dagmar, who is just wonderful. I've taken kite boarding lessons before and have been able to get up and ride but I never had a good understanding of what I was doing correctly (or more often, incorrectly) and never felt comfortable enough to buy my own gear and go out on my... Juan Carlos (owner) is really friendly and got me out on the water right away. I've kited - but never here - he got me setup with great new gear, briefed me on the area and got me out on the water right away. I talked with other folks from his shop and everybody was very friendly. Great little restaurant/bar... More

JC Thanks so much for your services. It was much harder than we anticipated but God has a good sense of humor. Great call on sending Francis. She was a great piece to the whole venue of the show. She is a very cool girl. Thanks for sending Michigan Tom as well. He was a great help. I need a... More

We were down in Isla Verde for a few days before a cruise. Last time we were down there I had seen these guys kiting and I really wanted to get into it. Fast forward 4 years we were back in San Juan. We think Isla Verde beach is beautiful so coming to this beach was a no brainer. I... More

As a girl, I was always skeptical if I had the ability to kitesurf, especially since I never played any sport. 15 Knots was a bit hard to reach at first via phone, but it was worth the minor obstacle because when I finally got a hold of Juan Carlos (the owner of the school), he was quick to ease... I just finished my 3rd kiteboarding lesson. They are well organized shop that takes care of their customers. They have a variety of top notch equipment available and excellent instructors (I had Francis and Dagmar so far). Keep in mind this is a difficult sport to master so plan on several lessons. They are very patient yet also push you... More

Recently me and my son took 2-3hour lessons. Although i knew it was going to be challenging it was even harder than i thought and even after 6 hours my feet never touched the board. As a reasonably fit 62yo snowboarder i thought i would have a shot but clearly i needed more time as did my 21yo son. I... More
