Clean and crowded (summertime)

The beach was clean everytime I went there but it was very crowded. You could hire laying chairs for the day. There were also activities you could do like jetsking etc

Love this quite beach. Sand is quite coarse which means it doesn´t kling to everything, but it makes it harder to walk on.

If you want Benidorm, Roquetas is not! Its a lovely Spanish family holiday destination. Lots of free space on the beaches which stretch for miles. Lovely authentic Spanish restaurants and tapas bars with a few good English bars too.

Nice, confortable and clean. A lot of children's services and entertainment. No problem to park the car and find the place on the beach

This beach goes on for miles but only downside was the colour of your feet or shoes once back on the promenade they get filthy, also lots of seaweed piled up on beach and bit smelly.

I wish I'd spent a bit more time on the beach. Not pleasant to walk on but still enjoyable all the same whether taking a dip in the sea during the day or a little stroll at night. Water gets deep very quickly and the current is quite strong so not advisable to let kids in on their own. Really... More

Plenty of space for everyone. Cleaned each night, safe for belongings. Gets deep quite quickly, so take care of little ones. Watch out for strong wind days. You don't want to end up in Morocco. Take advice from sunbed sellers.

A very long shingle beach, with more sand than shingle the nearer you get to the sea. A promenade runs the whole length of the beach. There are restaurants and kiosks at intervals along the promenade. There are wooden walk ways leading from the promenade to the the sea. Each walk way has a shower.

What a fabulous beach. Long stretch of thick shingle until you get near to the ayers edge where lovely sand takes over. We were here in July and had to wear beach shoes as it was so hot, even on the boardwalks. Sea was warm and clean but in some days had quite a rip about it. Promenade was clean... More
