A clean and tidy beach although not sandy, more of a fine grit so talcum powder was used to brush it off. Subbed hire available and not too pricey. The beach bars are more like mini restaurants and didn't appeal to the kids.

A long stretch of sandy beach that is cleaned every morning by staff from the local council. A great place for swimming, walking or just taking the sun; well supplied with chiringuitos (beach bars) as well as life-guards.

There are so may beaches along the seafront. Serena beach was as the name suggests the quietest part. We walked along. Here towards the natural reserve which was at the end of the prom. If you like really quiet unspoilt beaches this is the place to head to

Great looking beach with palm trees and, plenty of space on it, only drawback is that it is fine shingle and not sand.

A very clean shingle beach leading down to the warm Mediterranean Sea. Palm trees adorn this beach to provide a feeling of tranquility. Sun beds up and down the beach offer restful idyllic locations. A promenade leads to Roquetas de mar for approx 3 km's. For me I prefer white sandy beaches otherwise my rating would have been higher.

This beach is very clean, it isn't sand as you would expect, it is more shingle, there are plenty of sun loungers which do not over crowd the beach.

The beach is cleaned daily and sun beds cost 4€ each. The beach is shale and quite course. The wind gets up quickly and the sea can get rough but is warm once you are in. Plenty of places selling drinks etc. never over crowded on the beach and plenty of room.

Would prefer sand to the stones which were uncomfortable on your feet, but we bought some shoes & problem solved

Well, the beach looks great, goes on for miles, and there is a nice walkway for morning runs/evening strolls. However the beach itself is man made, of very coarse material, you walk barefoot on it, let alone build sand castles!
