Podere il Casale provides a wonderful tour of its operations, from the viewing room for their cheese factory through a walk in the garden and by some of the animals. Then they serve a delicious meal based on their own products. The meal was very good, and the tour made us consider building a trip around volunteering at the farm.

We spent 4 hours with Sandra, learning how to cook with her. She is patient and understanding and she treated us all as friends. Our meal was delicious, served out on the terrace overlooking the valley. She took us on a tour of the farm - everything we ate, they produce. This was an amazing experience!

The owners were so kind and friendly, food delicious and plentiful. Great cheese and honey. Many vegetable options. And what fun to visit with all the animals!

We learned about Podere Il Casale based on a review from another member of Trip Advisor. The idea of going to an organic farm and learning about the making of pecorino cheese from an artisan cheese-maker was very interesting. Ulisse and Sandra warmly welcomed us to their organic farm.
