Having spent most of my youth in the Florida keys, where crystal clear waters on a desolate beach were the norm, Cala Mariolu was a treat nonetheless. While not exactly desolate, a universe away from the likes of the Jersey shore or eastern Long Island. Its best accessed by boat, the sheer cliffs and boulders on the beach add a... More

Just to start off, I'm happy I have been visited the dreamy Cala Mariolu three times so far. This amazing stretch of pebble beach rivals in beauty with the others of the Golfo the Orosei, but almost every year Cala Mariolu has reserved a decent place in top ten famous beaches. Come early and you'll have the beach for yourself.... More

I must say that I really LOVED being here. The beach is so beautiful and unique. The only down side to it was that people would come up to me while I was laying out to ask me if I wanted to buy Polo shirts and other random things. That was kind of annoying but I would still go back.... More

We took a tour and this was one of the spots we couldn't wait to go to. The tour also stops at a grotto and 3 other beaches nearby. Cost around 36 euros each (beach plus grotto) and doesn't include any food and drinks. Pretty good price in my opinion. Just grab some snacks and drinks from a nearby shop... More

Amazing crystal clear blue water. The beach is pebbles, so can hurt the feet. We arrived by boat and spent 2 hours snorkeling and soaking up the Sardinian sun. Perfect!!

Simply enchanting... white rocks and crystal water with fishes swimming at your feet in the shore. A must in Sardinia. The beach can be reached by boats leaving from Arbatax, Santa Maria Navarrese or Cala Gonone. Can be very crowded in August.

Sometime i do not have words to describe the Nature. Cala Mariolu is one of the famous and beautiful beaches at the Gulf of Orosei. The water is crystal clear. The presence of white rocks near to the beach give its unique beauty. The best way to visit Cala Mariolu is by boat. Boats are available at the Cala Gonone.... More
