Dear if you'll go to Sardegna don't leave Cala Mariolu alone. Rent a boat in Orosei and in one day you can visit the Gulf. Ask to visit Cala Luna; Piscine di Venere, Cala Mariolu and Golorize. Take with you the mask for looking underwater and your camera. I do not know if is better Cala Mariolu or the water... More

Very, very beautiful beach. Not that easy to get to, especially on a cloudy/rainy day, but it's totally worth the effort. The beach itself it's small, quiet and the rock formations around the beach and the trees that grow on it make Cala Mariolu a fairy tale destination. This is a must-see in Sardinia!

The above title has to be understood in context. It's perhaps the best beach along the entire beautiful gulf, which means it could be one of the top 10 beaches in the entire world. Not joking around here. Crystal clear water with friendly fish swimming nearby. Pretty rock formations and enough space to relax. Small food/drink shack. Must be reached... More

Sardinia has overall beautiful beaches. The clear water over white sand reflects the light in a stunning way.. a great island to spend a holiday,, late June, to end of July is the best time. The water is warming, August being the hottest month, but the crowds are manageable.. August is hot and very crowded, because all the mainland Italians... More

Stunning small beach as are most on this coastline. Experience slightly dampened by a jellyfish sting, ouch! be very careful as there were lots in the shallow water.

Simply the best. It gets crowded in the afternoon with big groups coming around 2pm. Otherwise it's beautiful. The most beautiful beach I've seen in Europe!
