There are lot's of D-Day museums around Normandy. I wish I could have the time to visit each and every one of them. If you are on a limited time schedule that means you have to select only the best. This is one of them definitely. As a beach visit Utah is nowhere near as formidable appearing as Omaha beach... More

Very informative film and very thorough coverage of all of the events of D-Day. Reasonable entry fees.

Amazing, educational place for kids. Lots of memorials etc. and a museum. We didn't visit the museum but we did go on the beach with the children explaining the significance. Lovely tea rooms with lots of memorabilia.

A bit on the small side for such an important memorial site but I guess Omaha takes most of the visitors. Exhibits are good and well laid out with some novel ideas. Parking is sometimes an issue as police inspect regularly.

The Museum is well planned and has many stunning exhibits, the WW2 Bomber is spectacular. The trip was enhanced by an extremely knowledgeable and articulate English speaking guide whose father had landed on the British beaches on D-Day. This gave an immediacy to the presentation. We were given biographical information about individuals who had been involved in the landings, this... More

There are a lot of museums around the Normandy Beach area and this is one of the biggest ones. Lots of information spanning the whole invasion, not just this beach. Also covered a lot about the Navy side of the invasion.

spent an interesting hour or so at the museum this week ...only spoiled when my near two year old daughter managed to walk into the glass wall separating one of the displays. suffice to say we then spent the rest of the visit deadening the screams and tolerating the generally elderly audience with the stares and finger wagging. other than... This wonderful museum is directly on the landing site at Utah Beach and is really deceptive in just how much it contains and how well personal stories of those involved are so very well presented. It gives the museum an extra personal touch that others lack. What surprised me was the amount of information and artefacts on show and also... More

This smaller sized museum was excellent of bringing D Day to life for my teenage sons. The videos are very well done and a good start to the museum. Interesting artifacts and videos in ding one with a Dick Winters. A definite must visit.
