The best stuff: Superb blue/red runs and lift systems - highlight was the 10km run from top to bottom was fantastic - like backcountry skiing - saw 5 people in 30 minutes of skiing. Don't let the red diamonds put you off - it's fine for intermediate blue/red skiers. The bad stuff: The huts/cafes were soulless and not worth visiting... More

After several skiing trips in Austria, we decided to try iceberg’s conditions with guaranteed good quality snow all the day. We stayed in the hotel, which was forty minutes travel by bus (separate review). We didn't find this as a problem, due to frequent free of charge bus service in the area. I would recommend going by public bus, which... More

Perfect skiing when it is sunny and no wind blows. Fast access, long and well trimmed pistes. Better to visit after end February when risk of bad weather is less.

We skied here in early March, and there was plenty of packed powder and the trails were well-groomed. Renting our ski equipment with InterSport was easy. The glacier was a bit crowded on some days, but for most of our trip it was lovely.

Well prepared pistes for skiers an snowboard lovers of all ages, big kindergarten and a special area for the youngest. Lot's of snow and much sun at least in mid February. Highly recommended.

As a non skier it is better to go during week days to avoid crowds There is a good walking path from Eisgrat to Gamsgarten, but we did not find the higher one from Jochdole to Eisgrat

Foehn wind condition the end of January and early February caused the Glacier area to be closed due to high winds and avalanche threat several days during our visit, but our Super Ski passes and the extensive free ski bus system gave us easy, no-additional cost access to other fun areas like Schlick 2000 and Serles. Days when the Glacier... More

The lifts are, from my point of view, a little bit out dated. They have many of these pulling lifts that convey in max 2 people at the time. As many Stubal visitors are beginner skiers often they take one lift per person. In this ski place one really noticed that most of the visitors have only 1 or 2... More

Good skiing for all levels. No queues anywhere. Just heaven. Unfortunately I had a prang on day 2 and cannot praise the rescue service enough. Everyone was so kind. Cannot wait to return and explore further. Usually ski in Italy, however, Neustift has converted me.

Very nice place for skiing and snowboarding. For the non-skiers there is a big restaurant, a shop with ski articles. I would recommend that this shop woul have some pharmacy articles, as for case of diareah or a head ache.
