Half way between the town of Santa Elena and the Santa Elena Preserve the Sky Walk is located: This complex use trails, suspension bridges for a more tranquil introduction to the ecology and natives of the forest canopy, constructed within the cloud forest. It allows a vision of the forest from a different perspective which starts with a walk on the ground taking you up to explore the treetops, a hardly discovered habitat, called the “canopy” with a naturalist guide. Also discover the night wildlife at our Sky Walk Night Tour.

This attraction offers a nice variety of different ways to experience the cloud forest. There is a series of swing bridges that can be walked with or without a nature guide. We went with a guide who did a great job of describing the flora and fauna. There is also a gondola that offers great views of the country side... More

Wow. This place is unbelievable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We first did the SkyWalk which was educational and fun. Andre guided us around the bridges (which to be honest, were fairly terrifying). We saw lots of different birds, and it was interesting listening to information about the flora and fauna of the area. Excellent guide, very knowledgeable. We passed below... More

This is one tour I would highly recommend to take. Walking the trail up the cloud forest is like being in a magic only nature could give.

I took one look of the first bridge and took a deep breath. I made all 8 bridges. Part of the time we were really in the clouds.

If you are looking for adventure .. This is great. I zip lined before but this one is huge! The skywalk is magnificent.. And the bridges , well I cannot say enough good things. Make sure you don't go in the rainy season though, it gets a bit muddy up there.. Great experience!

We did the hanging bridges and the tram. The weather was punk, but could imagine that the tram would be incredible on a beautiful day. The bridges were fantastic and really let you see the trees from a different angle and up close.

For those who would like to go through the forest on foot. We walked across 5 of the 6 hanging bridges (must have missed the trail to one of them). Peaceful, beautiful, thick jungle.

The hanging bridges are beautiful and we managed to spot a kinkajou and a howler monkey without a guide. We slowed our pace to drink in the beauty and to try to avoid the noisy groups and families who took the hike at a run and made so much noise jumping and shaking the bridges that they scared away the...
