great display of the frogs of costa rica, the night time visit is especially worthwhile to hear the frogs and toads at night.

We went because we were with our 2.5 year old child and saw so many great reviews. We had a great experience at the Butterfly garden (the Mariposa garden, not the one that's offered here), because you can walk around as the butterflies float around you, and our tour guide was amazing. I was hoping for something similar, but this... More

This was worth going to with a guided tour. The tour guide helps you find the frogs and tells you all about their habitat and activity. Go at night to see the frogs active and your ticket gives you another free visit to come in the day time as well. All the frogs are in glass enclosures a it's a... More

This really isn't worth the entry fee: you see tiny glimpses of very small frogs in glass cases; the guide was very helpful but I wouldn't recommend it: there are better ways to spend your time and money

Should have read the reviews beforehand! Usd 27 for 2 adults and 2 children and we could ourselves find 2 frogs, a few more with a guide. The terrariums are filled with plants not frogs. I thought there would be loads of colorful frogs fun for the kids, in reality there was 1 if any in each of its under... More

It was cool, but not fantastic. We went at night and could really only see the frogs if our guide pointed them out.

It was nice to see différent kind of species that you can not find during the night walk and the price is correct. You pay one ticket and you can go during the day and go back during the night when they see more active! But the glasses have to be clean a little bit more!

There's an informal feel to this place, but we liked that aspect of it, with the guide trying hard to help us spot the frogs, and usually succeeding. Like all wildlife spotting you take your chances, so don't expect to get great views of everything, everyone's experience will be different. We took advantage of the repeat visit on the same... During the first tour in daylight a guide gives a lot of information about the frogs. You need to have a bit of luck to see them during daylight as they are most active during dark. With the same entrance ticket you can return during the evening (when it's dark) to explore on your own. They give you a flashlight... More

Really can't see much. With so many interesting things to do outside in this area we felt it was a waste of time to see frogs in glass cages
