Interesting and fun. Guillermo is passionate about running a sustainable operation and teaching others about it. We learned so much about how coffee grows and how it's harvested. Wonderful to know that school children come to learn there. And there were adorable baby animals on the farm. The tour ended with delicious coffee and pancakes. The excellence of this tour... More

The coffee tour was very nicely done! We learned a lot about coffee, cocoa and sugarcane. Our guide was friendly and informative. The coffee was delicious and so was our experience with cacao and chocolate!

The Monteverde Coffee Farm is one of a number of farms in a coffee farm coop. Joyce gave an educational and interesting tour of the farm, including a walk through the coffee and other plants (plantains, bananas, vegetables), and the barns (pigs, goats, chickens). After learning how the coffee is grown, picked, and processed, we were served great coffee and... More

This coffee tour is of a private, family-run business, NOT the corporate farms. At this fun and informative tour, small groups are lead through Victor's property (with an interpreter) and shown the history and process of coffee production. I will never look at coffee the same way! There was no pressure to buy Victor's coffee, but after tasting it at... More

We learned a lot and it was also very fun, I won't buy coffee the same way going forward. In addition of seeing the coffee, you also have the opportunity to "press" some sugar canes and some cacao beans. The gift shop at the end where they the coffee is good as well with reasonable prices.

The San Luis coffee tour was a very informative and fun experience. It was a private tour for my boyfriend and I, given by the owner of the farm Victor with the help of a friendly translator as we didn't speak Spanish. We not only learned how the coffee is made today, but also the original processes and got to... More

This was so fun! Learned about cocoa, coffee, and sugar cane; sampled each along the way. The tour guide was wonderful; I can still hear him! Ended the tour in a beautiful tasting room with a beautiful view! Definitely worth the entrance fee and a great way to spend a couple of hours!

http://www.victorsfarm.com/tours We went and visit café San Luis, or also known as Victor's farm. We really enjoyed it. Great plantation, café, banana, mango, etc. We roasted our own coffee beans. We brought them back with us and we will be able to enjoy them later when we are back home!

We enjoyed the coffee in Costa Rica which inspired us to take this tour. Glad we did. If it's hot go in the morning. We saw more wildlife on this tour than during the cloud forest tour. plus good coffee, fresh sugar cane and a knowledgeable tour guide. worth the money
