While staying in Monteverde don’t miss the Sky Tram that will lead you up to the Continental Divide and to one of the highest mountains in the area.  Sky Tram is a guided tour where you can have the opportunity to observe the cloud forest outstanding biodiversity, the majestic Arenal Volcano and the Nicoya Gulf. The Sky Trek’s zip lines go from mountain to mountain, allowing you fly through a cable at speeds up to 40 miles per hour and heights of over 520 feet.  There are also 5 observation towers that surpass the cloud forest treetops, providing amazing panoramic views our company has a braking system that was superior to what I'd experienced in other places. The zip linesthemselvesare long and fast, when the clouds cleared, we were able to see the ocean, which was amazing. It is a really great experience.

Okay, so first of all, we had a good time. That is the most important thing. But, it came at a price. I booked this excursion months in advance. It was the #1 thing the kids were excited about when we went to Costa Rica, and specifically, Monteverde. I went back and forth with a series of e-mails to select... More

We have done the Sky walk bridges twice now, once in 2012 and again in 2015. They are amazing. You never know what your going to see. The wild life changes with seasons and fruiting vegetation. We did the zipline this time, it was fast and exciting. You take the tram up to the top with incredible views all around... More

The tram was simply a cable car that took you to the top of the mountain. The day we were there the clouds were very heavy--it is the cloud forest afterall. Very little to see. The Sky Walk was a two hour naturalist walk around the property which includes crossing six bridges, or as they call them, hanging bridges. The... More

The entire trip up to the observation deck and back down is quick, but well worth it to get an aerial view of the cloud forest

Only took a guided sky walk tour which was booked with our travel agent. Hella our guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The only downside to this trip was that the local wildlife didn't want to come out to see us. Didn't try the zip wires as had already booked for a different part of the holiday but they looked... We liked the skywalk and the skytram. The guide was very professional and the scenery was breath taking. 2-3 hours, effortless.

I took a group of students to Sky Trek and we had a fabulous time. We first did the hike and the suspension bridges. We saw rare birds and gorgeous flowers. The scenery was phenomenal. The hike is a bit strenuous, but not bad. Walk the bridges one foot in front of the other to reduce shaking. The kids all... More

Start with the nature walk - the walk here is good, not overly challenging, but you will see lots - especially the tarantulas, which, with a good guide, will come out of their holes and provide a really fascinating look. The hike is challenging, but note overly so, and the climate is great, easing the degree of difficulty considerably, especially... More

We absolutely loved this. The walking tour was eh. Our guide, Michael, didn't seem very interested in guiding. He was knowledgable and nice, just not very attentive or enthusiastic. But the ziplines were absolutely amazing. I can't imagine a better Costa Rican experience. You are flying above the gorgeous mountains in Monteverde. The guides here were awesome. Very funny, engaged,... More
