While staying in Monteverde don’t miss the Sky Tram that will lead you up to the Continental Divide and to one of the highest mountains in the area.  Sky Tram is a guided tour where you can have the opportunity to observe the cloud forest outstanding biodiversity, the majestic Arenal Volcano and the Nicoya Gulf. The Sky Trek’s zip lines go from mountain to mountain, allowing you fly through a cable at speeds up to 40 miles per hour and heights of over 520 feet.  There are also 5 observation towers that surpass the cloud forest treetops, providing amazing panoramic views our company has a braking system that was superior to what I'd experienced in other places. The zip linesthemselvesare long and fast, when the clouds cleared, we were able to see the ocean, which was amazing. It is a really great experience.

Amazing, over 4000+ feet of cable & breathtaking views

This was a great adventure combined with waterfall repelling. Very safe and definitely the best zip line in the Arenal area. Great views of volcano and lake!

This is out 5th time to Costa Rica and we have done so many tourist activities and loved them. This was the WORST experience we have had and would recommend people think carefully before going. The ride up is very daunting. It's a dirt road for almost 10 miles and a huge cliff. When we arrived it started raining. We... More

Hello Mrs. Kelly, please let me clarify our position about your comments and so that our visitors are kept well informed and not confused with your appreciation. Regarding the road of 10 miles, I clarify that this is the only access to the town of Monteverde, our local authorities and government are working very hard and by the end of... More

We took the tram up and walked down. Was a little pricey (80$ for 2) the guide was knowledgeable and informative. We stopped at a couple waterfalls on the way down. Was worth seeing.

Very professional guides and beautiful forest with hanging bridges. Highlight of the whole place. I liked it better than Monteverde Reserve

If you want to go ziplining, I'd highly recommend sky trek in Monteverde. My mother and I went in early May and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Plus, we felt very safe and it was nice not having to use our hand to break. Our guides were great and friendly too.

Waited years to try zip lining and put it off until we had the opportunity to do it in Costa Rica. This place did not disappoint. The staff was excellent. Professional, safety conscious and loads of fun. Big Daddy and Big Momma were amazing. Excellent views of Lake Arenal and the rain forest.

We stopped off here after passing by on the way from the Santa Elena reserve. We took the Sky Tram, which I thought was pretty pricey on it's own, and then added on the Sky Walk, which at only another $14 each made the whole afternoon better value. The Sky Tram was a nice experience; it would have been nice... More

After reading the review Paul from California I just had to interject. He said his wife collided at full speed with a young 8 year old 10 feet from the platform. My question is why in gods name was his wife going that fast??? There is no need. I'm sure the guides signaled for Paul's wife to slow down. I... More

The views are beyond belief! I actually had to close my eyes several times though when going over the ziplines! A little scary for someone a little afraid of heights. The guys were all wonderful, though and I felt totally safe! It was truly a "must-do" excursion for the trip!
