There are appx 12 sunbeds free of charge (but you are expected to buy something in the "cafe" if you choose the beds). Cafe served cold drinks - we didn't try the... More

Nice beach with a cool walk to it from Unawatuna. For less adventures people you can also take a tuktuk to it. There are some cool animals in the jungle.

An easy walk from the peace pagoda, this little cove is a nice spot to sunbathe and swim. Enjoyed by locals (smart enough to hang out under the shade of the trees) and, predominantly European, tourists alike. There's a restaurant on the beach if you need refreshments, though I can't attest to it's quality as I didn't venture in. They hold... More

Yes go here. It's a bit of a trek to get to and if you're not great with climbing and scrambling you might struggle to get to it but it's definitely worth it when you're there. You have to walk through a bit of jungle or walk around a pile of rocks to enter this beach but once you're there... More

Beautiful relaxing beach! Little peach of paradise! Great drinks but very quite. Apparently they have Djs on Tuesdays so if you are looking for a more upbeat day, research before going. Stop by the temple on the way down and take some photos.

A great hidden beach - not too busy. Great little bar/cafe with good food. The whole family swam in the sea - a memorable experience

Poor restaurant, not very clean. Not well lit at night. Toilets were disgusting. Staff were really nice.
