Went there in the evening and in the morning. Thoroughly enjoyed! There is a restaurant (hut like) where they serve juices and cocktails, they have areas to rest after the swim. Crowd was not bad as well.

This seemed to be a secret, as it was a very quiet and secluded beach. Beautiful clean beach with palms and a little mountain as a backdrop. There's a small shack there, where you get super affordable but fresh food, and drinks. They also have changing rooms, showers, toilets and beach/deck chairs.

Nice almost private beach near to busy Galle... We rent a scooter cause tuk tuk cost around 600ruppies to go there.. Beach is really small - 100m but it's great and calm place. You can buy some food or drinks in restaurant (juices 350r, cola 150r, meals 450+r). Great place for chill and relax

Had a lovely swim, and looking back at the beach it was very pretty. I dont like Unawatuna beach where dogs leave their mark... More

If you'll go to Unawatuna, you should visit Jungle Beach. You go from jungle, uphill and see pagoda, after you go down to Jungle beach

Hidden among the trees though not too far from the city is this really small piece of paradise. Great place to spend the afternoon though it can get a little crowded due to small beach area.

I never thought that the beach would be this small! It is not more than maybe 50-100m and there is a bar. Ok, there are a lot of trees around, but not really my idea of a jungle beach.

We stayed in Unawatuna for 3 nights out of season and decided that we wanted something other than the main beach to visit. We heard about Jungle beach from the lovely lady that ran our guesthouse (Moon Light Rest) and decided we would walk over a have a look. It was about a 30 minute walk through the jungle and... More
