Nice small beach

Good: safe to swim, clean sand, snorkeling early morning (water gets cloudy later). Pleasant beach bar. Good sun-beds free , adequate shade Can get crowded.

Yuo could lay on the beach watching the nicest view of the Roomassala . The bar serves nice smoothies and shakes.

A very nice Little Beach, without too many tourists. Free beach chairs. No big waves. Perfect for children.

Great experience! The beach consists of two parts. If you leave tuk tuk earlier on your way, you'll get to the wild one. There could be dance music and illumination in the evening. Beware of underwater stones, sometimes they are very near the water surface, I hurt my foot. If you go to the very end of the road, near... More

So secluded, only a few travellers. Right near the monument to the Tsunami which offers fabulous views looking back on Galle. A beautiful panorama and clean crystal waters.

Its a nice beach tucked away in a corner, but its a popular beach so expect it to be crowded. We had a good time on the beach, the beach restaurant served some great fried prawns for a reasonable price and the beer was cold, nice crowd too. The beach was clean, the snorkeling decent, water calm for kids to... More

Very small beach and get crowded and hightide after lunch so come early. The water also gets very dirty during hightide! Free sunbeds, not so very comfy but free. Take a short walk around to the other beach, more quiet but no sunbeds. You can take the walk from Unawatuna Beach or go by tuctuc for around 400rp. Cute beach,... More

we were advised by our hotel to arrive early and I'm very glad we did. The beach itself is about 50 m from end to end. This means that it does not take many people to make a crowd. You can very easily combine a visit to this beach with the Japanese peace monument up the hill. You can ask... More
