Feeling super relaxed after the lovely hour long session this morning. Although it's not the style of yoga I usually practice prefer it to solo practice. I'm a beginner and Asiri was good at knowing where to push and where to relax. Going back tomorrow.

Asiri is really good teacher, both for beginners and practicioners. He knows how to motivate and adjust asanas to individual needs and level. I appreciate clues that he gave - none of my earlier teachers gave me. And he has good positive energy and sense of humour which is important too.

This class is classical yoga and Asiri follows a set series of postures which are quite difficult. Its not like the yoga I have done elsewhere which is more focused on breathing and focus into holding poses. If you are advanced then you might like this, but I felt pressured to try to push things beyond a level I was... More

Asiri is simply the best yoga master you can find in Southern Sri Lanka. With a big smile, you will learn all the steps to understand how to deal with the scorpion position. For beginners or advanced people. The music (Ravi Shankar) is also perfect...

The teacher was a nice, but the session itself is a bit boring. What I do in Japan is slower, with a good controls of breathing. But posing is fast and the level is quite mixed. And the last 10mins was a kind of the comparison time, who is a good or not. This is against Yoga spirit. It was... More

I attended a class today and was very satisfied with my experience. I don't attend yoga regularly but feel confident enough to move with the class. I was surprised by the advanced positions but Asri (the teacher) was very encouraging and supportive. We practised a few times and along the way , he encouraged hard, he was very well aware... More

The teacher is fresh and charming but frankly I was quite disappointed in his teaching skills. The session took an hour and it was fragmented, going from one asana to the other and there was no building up. It was disorganized and also very rushed. 90% of the students were beginners and the most challenging asanas were shown, and I... More

I have been practising yoga on and off now for a year and have never managed the crow pose or the head stand. After one session with Asiri, I was able to manage the crow pose with his guidance and by the 3rd session i was able to hold the pose. Asiri is a great start to know yoga and... More

Me and a friend went for a week whilst staying in unawatuna, I have never done yoga before but I'm now hooked! It was a good workout whilst being targeted at all levels. Asiri was an excellent teacher, couldn't of asked for better!!
