Dolphins are smart mamals. Just an amazing experience to spend time with KIKI in the water. Although he was older, he was kind, gentle and loving. Made the vacation that much more memorable.

It only opened a few years ago and its existence is not widely known, so voila! I'm introducing you to Dolphinarium Cayo Santa Maria! It's not fully completed yet (construction-wise) but it's almost fully operational, deemed to be one the largest in Latin America!

The dolphinarium was part of our catamaran tour. The dolphin experience was nicer than most, because you are just petting the dolphin rather than them being forced to push you around. Also less of your body is submerged, thus less sunscreens and other oils are being put in the water that the dolphins are living in. I did not like... More

We had a great experience on this tour. The large group was split into two groups- one went to the snorkeling first, while the other went to the Private Island and we all met up at the Dolphin park for lobster lunch. Snorkeling was good. As the weather was a bit windy, it was difficult to get back to the... More

My 7 year old daughter and I were very lucky to be able to experience "swimming with a dolphin" all on our own! We went early in the morning before the catameran tours arrived and were the only ones in our group. Usually there are 7-8 people for the 30 minute swim but with it being just the 2 of... More

We visited the dolphinarium as part of the catamaran tour and found this stop to be amazing. The dolphins are well-trained and put on an incredible show. They are such smart animals. When visiting you must get in the water with the dolphins and interact. It is worth every nickel we paid and we would do it again. A lobster/chicken... More

The catamaran tour was fantastic. You could do as little or as much as you wanted to do. After snorkling we went to the Dolphinarium to watch the dolphins treat us to a great show. We got the chance to get up close and touch them as they swam by... that was nice. After the show, we had a very... More
