We only had a few hours in Newtonmore and we had contemplated doing the Wildcat Trail around the outskirts of the town, however when we visited the Wildcat Experience we opted for that instead. We're just back from a week in Newtonmore and had a ball trying to find all the painted wildcats around the village. We only managed 65/110 but saw parts of the village we'd never have gone to. We were a party of 6, with 4year old twins, a teenager and 3 x40ish year olds. This is something everyone can join...

Before I start my review I should explain what this is! Basically there are models of wildcats all painted differently hidden around Newtonmore. You buy a pack at The Wildcat Centre for £7.99 which is a bag (which can be kept), pen and booklet with pictures of all the cats in it. Each cat is numbered and there is a...
