Newtonmore stables were a wonderful place to introduce really young kids to riding and for the last 5 years has continued to provide an amazing holiday treat for not only the kids but adults too. We now all look forward to our annual visits. The horses are cared for wonderfully which Is not only obvious visually but shows in their... More

We stayed at Newtonmore for a few days and were given a great welcome. The yard is kept to a very high standard, extremely well run, and was really friendly. Thanks so much for having us!

We called at short notice to see if they could do a lead walk for our two year old son - they asked us to come straight away and we rushed there immediately. We were greeted friendly and a little old Shettie by the name of Archie appeared. A hat was fitted to the wee man's head and he enjoyed... More

my daughter goes to the Saturday saddle club and really enjoys it. Reasonably priced. I have also been on a trek with the horses and really enjoyed it, very hands on.

A small group of us visited here on a recent holiday to Scotland. We are all of a similar ability (good rising trot), and the location seemed ideal. The staff were friendly, and the horses were really well behaved (although a bit farty first thing in the morning). We had a quick run around the arena, which allowed the people... More

We took our grandaughters to ride, all under 7. We were met with courtesy and friendliness. The girls enjoyed learning how to prepare the ponies and then rode them. They were very happy and full of smiles when we came back. Two returned the following day and enjoyed it just as much. I would have given it five, but there... More

We were a mixed ability group but opted for an hour ride that would suit our four beginners. The staff were fab, really personable and friendly. The ponies were the best behaved, responsive and obviously well adored ponies I think that we've ever come across. Marigold was a poppet and my husband completely fell for Kelpie. The hack was through... More

My pal and I have been promising ourselves a day out and what a day we had, riding lovely Highlands in the most beautifull scenery with an excelent guide and the weather was good to us also. I will be telling everyone about our lovely day and will be back again. Thanks Lorraine for the great time .
