Went on a beginner's 1 hr trek and it was amazing. The staff was friendly and the ponies were well behaved and well cared for. The staff did a good job of matching horse to rider. For the beginner's trek there is always one or two staff members along on foot. We took a ride in the beautiful nature just... More

My husband has never been on a horse before and while the instructor took us around the ring a couple of times before heading out, I was surprised that she didn't go through the basics of how to use the reins. Still, the trail was easy and our guide was very attentive to each rider. It was a great experience... More

Went on a beginners 1 hour trek. Lady that led us was friendly and the horses were very well behaved. Only thing I would have liked to be done differently was to have been given a quick 10 minute overview of the basics in the paddock before setting off

Excellent - will be back again soon! Ponies are well schooled and very experienced (even if as beginners the riders aren't). Easy to find, parking on site. Very enjoyable - plan to return for full day as it sounds fantastic.

We booked for a two hour hack, and very glad we did, it was delightful and I would have been very disappointed if we'd had to turn back earlier! Good value, as in the end we were out for more like 2 1/2 hours. There were just two of us booked, but we still had two helpers from the stables... More

Husband and I booked for a beginner ride. He had never ridden and I was a rusty novice. We were looked after by a lovely girl who was clearly keen to look after us. I have a hip condition which limits me in some respects but, as an RDA (Riding for the Disabled) approved centre she helped me all the... More

For my 7 year old grand-daughter a horse ride on a holiday is a must. We phoned and booked a 30 minute ride for £15. On arrival the staff were friendly with the dark haired girl (who gave out the forms) being very enthusiastic and good with the kids. My grand-daughter was one of 3 riders with each horse led...
