I had not heard of this beach before two days ago and am so pleased that I found it on this website. It was beautiful! Lots of space even in school hOlidays easy to spread out along beach. Felt like before being somewhere further South on mainland Europe. Went there with my son and his wife. Free on street parking.... More

We spent the day at this great beach, the sand is yellow and clean, the sea was warm enough to swim in and the views were great. There was plenty of room to spread out as you go further down the beach. Free parking in the roads close to the beach and a cool pint to finish at the Botany... More

Botany Bay is a quiet beach with lifeguard cover, free parking, a little beach shop, toilets and a nice looking pub / restaurant on the cliffs above the beach - although we didn't try it. The beach was clean and is interesting because it has some mid-size chalk cliffs behind it and a couple of chalk sea stacks at the... More

Very pleased with being offered superior double room even though we had our dog. Wonderful sea view. Gorgeous bathroom. Understandably dogs not allowed in breakfast room but instead a table (with prompting by us) was set in comfortable bar area. A mere niggle but having seen how nice non pet guests were catered for at breakfast, we wanted that experience!... More

I visited the beach with my two children. It is lovely. We enjoyed a relaxing, hassle free day. The beach and water is really clean. There are no tacky shops and we parked for free. If you intend to go for the day you will need to take a picnic. There is a small shop to buy tea, coffee etc.... More

Whilst staying in the area we had to visit the beach, this beach is beautiful and quiet. The sand is so soft and kept very clean. The only downside is that people have engraved there names in the rock and it just shows lack of respect for the beach

This is one of the nicest beaches in the area. Soft sand and very clean. Same about all the dig walkers though. They are all over the beach.

I was having long walks on the beach and on the cliffs and the atmosphere was amazing! It's as beautiful during the sunny days as it is during the rainy days. There are nice people there who take care of all the rubbish that others leave and they maintain a clean place which also helps the wildlife. This place is... More
