We went with my daughter and we thoroughly enjoyed this beach with sand not pebbles. It's a shame the local children aren't as nice, verbally abusing a old man and us as we are from chinese origin and throwing stones at us when we left the bay. A local dog walker did have a word with them but i am... More

a beautiful soft sandy beach surrounded by white chalky cliffs. There are toilets half way to the top up some steps and in the summer they have a kiosk on the beach. Great for beachcombing, and exploring bays and caves at low tide

Beautiful day, empty, gorgeous beach, caves, chalk stacks, rock pools - wonderful! We walked from Palm Bay and back along the cliff.

This is a most beautiful soft sandy bay. There is a long slope of wide steps and a good metal hand rail to lead you down. Half way down are loos and at the bottom a useful kiosk selling snacks and beach gear. The best thing about this bay is the great monumental stacks of chalk which you cam wander... More

The beaches here are amazing and a walkers dream. The stuff washed up on the shore line is fascinating and there is a brilliant mix of sand chalk and rock pools. The chalk cliffs are separated punctured by holes and caves giving the whole thing a romantic haunting feel. You can walk endless miles of lovely sand and it really... More

In the early March sunshine, this was a wonderful walk.....2-3 miles, taking in four bays - Joss Bay, Viking Bay, Stone Bay and Kingsgate Bay before you get to Botany Bay. All the beaches were clean and quiet with a few dog walkers about. The usual beach activities, cafes and toilet facilities were non-existent as it was pre-season, so you'll... More

Park opposite the Botany Bay Hotel and walk down to Botany Bay from there and you will feel a wow factor immediately. Wonderful scenery even on a cloudy day, very quiet and you won't be disappointed. Tip: go to the toilet before you go down into the bay and look out for the high tide but there are exits at... More

Superb clean beach much enjoyed by the dogs! Obviously dog-orientated because of the number of bins provided. Nothing to dislike.
