I can't recommend wye canoes enough, our two days on the water were pretty much perfect. The team were incredibly helpful and friendly when booking the trip and answered any questions we had. We were new to canoeing and were fully briefed by Stuart on safety procedures and steering techniques in the mornings before setting off - he definitely knows... More

Thank you for your great feedback, that route is a great two day trip finishing just above Tintern Abbey, lovely and quiet most of the time and I agree the Boat Inn at Redbrook is certainly worth a visit. Hope to see you again in the future. More

I booked this trip for myself and five colleagues as a team-build style experience. Couldn't fault anything. Stuart and our guide Ollie were great hosts and couldn't do enough for us, even offering to take us on further once our trip had officially ended. They are also very knowledgeable, so we felt in very safe hands. The scenery is also... More

Went on a specially tailored full day tour for our special interest group. Weather was great, Ollie the guide was friendly and knowledgable and helped keep us going in the right direction. Was a long day but we saw all the things we hoped to see and lots more. Launch point was very steep but, chosen to suit the start... More

A group of colleagues from work, gathered on a chilly yet bright January morning. Stuart, and the other staff gave us a warm welcome with the bacon butties, and tea and coffee, whilst talking us through the day. We spent the morning paddling down the slightly swollen river Wye, but at all times felt safe under the watchfull eyes of... More

I'm an experienced white water kayaker but hadn't been on the water for 8 years. I contacted Stuart for some 1 to 1 coaching to help me get back on the water. Within a couple of days of my enquiry I was on the water with Ollie. The quality of the coaching was second to none. An experienced tutor myself,... More

Met by Stuart and Matt who started day off with tea/coffee and excellent bacon baguettes. Was on my own so teemed up with Matt who gave me excellent coaching on how to paddle and steer a canoe single handed. Other couples were roped and battened together in pairs so felt I had best experience. After purchasing an excellent ploughmans lunch... More

Superb way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Have canoed with Wye canoes on many occasions over the past few years and can always guarantee an enjoyable day. The area is beautiful and this is a lovely way to enjoy it. We went at short notice as a group of four adults and tagged along with a larger family group that... More

Stuart from Wye Canoes very helpful & humorous. Lovely half day paddle from Kerne bridge to Symmonds Yat. Lots of wildlife along the river, herons, kingfishers and we even saw an otter!

Used Wye Canoes for a group of 20 last weekend. Really easy to deal with and everything went smoothly, didn't bat an eyelid at the hungover stag in a wedding dress. Will be going back with the girlfriend in the autumn.

Thanks for the positive feedback, I hope the stag recovered from his weekend experience and I do have to say he looked very special in the wedding dress, it was a welcome change from the standard pirate outfit. 10/10 for effort. Hope to see you again soon. More

I'd previously been on a Wye Canoes adventure with the Ramblers Association and had such a great time I decided to book my family for my 50th birthday celebration.
