We did a two-day trip on one of their busiest summer weekends. They were obviously under pressure but got everybody to the right place with the right equipment in comfort. Their briefings were good, the people were friendly but not obsequious. Their advice about meeting points and accommodation etc. was spot on. I thought the price was pretty good. Will... More

Booking was a bit hit and miss due the non-existent phone signal at The Old Pump House in Symonds Yat, but was finally made by text message on a walk to Monmouth. Stuart kitted us out, made us familiar with our canoe and kayak, gave us our safety brief and some tips on navigating the rapids. After a short mini-bus... More

They told us what to do, gave us the gear, dropped us off at the right place and left us to do a full day's canoeing downstream which was very enjoyable. Thanks guys!

A full day kayaking from Kerne Bridge to Monmouth - WOW what a way to celebrate a big 6-0 birthday, (or just have a fun day out). Stuart is incredibly passionate about the Wye; after a full safety/route briefing and being kitted out it was a quick 10 minute trip to be dropped off at Kerne Bridge. Highlights in no... More

I booked a canoe a week in advance to ensure availability and was told that we would have to arrive at 1pm for the afternoon half day session from Kerne Bridge to Symonds Yat. I wrote down the details and paid my 50% deposit and thought that would be that. The meeting place was 35 minutes drive from where we... More

The nice weather helped, but this was superb way of whiling away an afternoon. The instructions were clear and service was great. It;s also extremely good value for money. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful day on the River Wye - did the full 15 miles from Ross-on-Wye back to Symonds Yat in a canoe. The scenery was amazing - and the organisation of this trip was spot on.

We hired a 2 seater canoe for 6 days paddling from Glasbury to Whitebrook for a very reasonable price. The non-existent mobile reception along parts of the Wye valley coupled with few bridges and narrow country roads make communication and transport difficult at times, but Wye Canoes were very helpful and always a pleasure to deal with.

Organised with Stuart and his team for a group of 16 women to canoe down the Wye in the morning with two canoe guides and do a guided walk in the afternoon as a celebration for my 50th birthday. A morning of hilarity followed as we canoed about seven miles on the wonderful scenic Wye. I had a few friends... More
