Bought a combined attraction family day ticket for butterfly farn and maze with intention of doing butterflies in the morning and maze on way home after lunch with family. Spent 15 mins in butterfy farm - beautiful and interesting, but had to leave as children felt ill with heat/humidity. Tried to drop in on maze on way home, but gates... More

Boat trip will take you up and down the river Wye that is very pleasant. There also a maze close by... More

Popped by here after a stay at the National Diving Centre nearby in Tidenham. Hardly any of the machines worked and the staff were awfully rude when asked for help.

Symonds Yat West is a great day out for all the family when visiting Rhos-on-Wye. There is a nice circular walk which takes you round the river and at the end, you then you catch the little boat which takes you back to your starting point and for canoing, it is the best place to start from. There are also... More

Spectacular spot...beautifully administered by the Forestry Commission. Wide accessibly board walks to lots of the viewing areas, be warned though...the walk down to the river is steep!!! with lots of steps...not difficult but remember, every step you take going down will feel like twenty going back up. Well worth the effort though, it is wonderful down by the river at... More

Beautiful area but seriously let down by shabby amusement centre with the rudest staff I have ever met! £5 to use soft play and bouncy castle but when my daughter got stuck the man was screaming at me because I went onto the soft play to rescue her. Absolutely no need to scream in the manner he did, rude and... More
