These waterfalls, almost dry during summer (usually when travelers visit them) are nothing compared to other natural attractions in Norway. If you want to take pictures or simply enjoy the nature of Norway, invest your time in other places like Geiranger, Stavanger or Alesund (called the Norway´s Venetia).

Seven sisters waterfall is named as there are 7 separate steams which playfully falls down into the Geiranger Fjord. Norway has many many waterfalls which are far much better than this for example Kjosfossen which is one of the best we visited in Norway. Seven sisters has some amazing story which the cruise narrates when you pass by. There is... More

The waterfall itself was beautiful, but there was so many beautiful falls in geiranger. That made the seven sisters not a very special one. Or might be the quantity of water is not enough on the day we visited to make it more spectacular.

If you are in Geiranger or close to it, by cruise or for Norway visit, dont miss to visit the Seven Sisters waterfalls. I have been there in July, it was very very nice to see them. There are no words to discribe such nice natural sites !

We have seen the waterfall from the ferry trip Geiranger-Hellesylt. It is spectacular. The debit was a bit low when we visited, but it was still nice.

There was 7 sisters visible on August 1. It was pretty spectacular to see from the boat. In additional to the 7 Sisters, there are numerous other waterfalls, big and small, coming down the sides of the cliffs, interspersed with small farms. A must see.

Close up passing, making you feel the moisture in your face. Notice the abandoned farm on the rather steep hillside, not far from where the water plunges into the fjord.

Even better if it has rained during or before your visit. Just an amazing sight and also the waterfall directly opposite the sisters.
