We were there in August. The waterfalls were not very powerful as it was the end of the season. I loved hearing the tale and right across from it - the Suitor. What delightful tales!

We only saw the Seven Sisters waterfalls from the deck of the Hurtigruten ship and from the road, but they looked pretty amazing even from there. Kayaking up to them, as some people did, would be awesome.

My wife and I went to Geiranger on a cruise ship (this must be the way most people get here?). I went kayaking on the fijord and saw the seven sisters from the base - they were/are brilliant and the whole trip was amazing, kayaking on a calm fijord is great fun and we didn't get too wet. These waterfalls, almost dry during summer (usually when travelers visit them) are nothing compared to other natural attractions in Norway. If you want to take pictures or simply enjoy the nature of Norway, invest your time in other places like Geiranger, Stavanger or Alesund (called the Norway´s Venetia).
