It has been a dream of mine to take a cooking class in italy. I signed my husband and I up for the class and were very impressed. Chef Luciano was friendly and informative, and we made and learned a lot. My husband was doing this just for me but right away he was right in there chopping and cooking... More

What a wonderful experience. I couldn't have asked for a better day. I was a little worried, as a solo traveler, that it would be a bit awkward but I couldn't have been more wrong. I met Chef Mauritizo for the market tour. It was so much fun. He explained the different foods, we had some coffee, and even tasted... More

My girlfriend and I are armature (at best) cooks and we thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class. It's very hands on and our chef, Mauritzio, was brilliant! Very skilled and very patient! We made five dishes in total (all from scratch) including a delicious panna cotta for dessert. We will definatley be coming back on our next trip to Italy. I... More

Experiencing a cook class while in Italy was at the top of the list for the 6 women who traveled together. We read many reviews about the Good Tastes of Tuscany classes and were not disappointed. With 6 of us we had the class all to ourselves! Our chef for the day, Maurizio, was a joy and made the experience... More

I had the good fortune of visiting Good Tastes of Tuscany Cooking Class back in March of 2011. I consider myself a self taught cook, and I can find my way around the kitchen. So being around Italian chefs was intimidating, until the classes began. The chefs were incredibly friendly, and made everyone in my group feel at ease. They... More

A fantastic cooking course with knowledgeable local chef maurizzio! Attention editors: This should really be llisted under firenze/Florence since it primarily services that area. When you're tired of renaissance paintings (it doesn't take long) why not consider an cooking course to learn (and eat) the local cuisine? We cooked and ate a three course meal and made some new friends... More

We did the 7 day tour and had a wonderful time. The staff and instructors were great and the Villa is beautiful. Be advised there can be a bit of walking in the heat on the tours and between the classes and rooms, so plan accordingly. Cooking days are well balanced with tours so you are not overwhelmed by one... More

We found this cooking class on the internet before our trip to Italy. There were many to choose from but glad we picked this one. From our market tour with the chef, Luciano, to the cooking and finally eating of our meal, it couldn't have been better. Our chef was so knowledgeable and the market tour was definitely worth the... I loved this experience. Our chef Mauricio was knowledgeable and entertaining. The fun and the wine never stopped. We prepared several dishes from beginning to end and ate all day through. It was a 5 hour class so I really feel I got my moneys worth, I was given a recipe book to take home. It was a beautiful place... More
