Been there twice this winter. At the end of january there was not much snow and they were trying to make one all the time. Then in the beginning of Mart everything on the slopes was perfect. Most of the lifts are old and slow, Sankt Oswald is better place for skiing when the temerature is not very high or... More

There are only few new ski lifts, the most of them are open chair lift or old cable car. An Austrian classical problem is the lack of care on the slopes compared with Italy or France

Strong wind will shut down the ski lifts. I didn't know that and waited for an hour for ski lift to start operating again. The ski tracks were in excellent condition.

Ski slopes are wide, long and almost always well prepared. Only few for beginners and rather advanced / mostly red slopes. We were in mid-January, it was low season, and slopes were not crowdy. Ski lifts seems old, but working OK. Bad and St.Oswald zones are connected, but with two double chair lifts. Free ski bus is available, but it... More

A lot of red slopes, one excellent black run for world cup downhill (named after famous Franc Klammer) and of course Romerbad Therme - spa center. As others mentioned, lifts are not so modern but slopes are perfectly prepared.

cute and nice ski area but rather not suitable for the advanced skier. plenty kilometres of slopes but they are easy, therefore a bit boring. the centre of the village itself has not much to offer in terms of shops or restaurants

The 2 ski areas are connected by a slow chair lift. We usually could do all pistes and lifts on one day. After 5 days it becomes a bit repetitive. However there are some challenging area: like the mogul piste and the non prepared piste near the Muldenlift.

Well-prepared pistes, fairly modern lifts (not the best I've seen in the region or in Austria, but still very good), more slopes than you can manage in a few days... There's not many "blue" (easy) slopes, but a plenty of "red" (medium difficulty) ones, everything is well-connected and artificial snow ensures that there's good skiing to be had even when... More

My family and I spent one week in late February 2012 skiing the Bad Kleinkirchheim and St. Oswald area. Positives: the ski area is large, with 100 km of slopes covering four mountains, staff are very family friendly, and terrain is almost all groomed intermediate slopes. The ski pass is fairly good value for money, and during promotional periods includes... More
