This beach has really not much to offer other than a long sandy beach stretching a couple of kilometres. The water quality does not hold up to international standards (bunch of trash if floating up and some places are a bit muddy). Also it lacks facilities (toilets, showers, change rooms, etc). Some stores and people selling expensive bathing stuff from... More

This is a very ordinary layout and underdeveloped. Quite some effort would be needed to bring it up to International standards.

The beach offers good swimming opportunities and is close to some quaint historic areas of a bygone European era. Also close to some quality restaurants, so worth the trip. The buses coming here may be crowded though, so sharing a taxi may be the way to go. Don't forget the camera - quite an attractive spot!

Best you can do here is stroll on the beach. Sand is littered with trash and the water is shallow and filled with floating plant life. Never saw a single sunbather or swimmer the full length of the beach.

It's a nice beach near downtown Yantai, the water quality varies depending on the weather conditions and currents but it's usually ok. The sand it's littered with too many cigarette butts to be called clean, and bathers keep spitting on it, so it's advisable to wear sandals. It's a good place to relax for few hours and have a bath.... More

I would describe this beach as decent within China, but by foreign standards extremely lacking in about every aspect. The swimming beach section is roped off so people know where they can and can't swim. The swimming patch is actually very small so during the day there is very little room to do anything other than stand and move around... More
