Very interesting small museum and wine cellar describing the largest winery in China. Can taste wine and understand more about the process of wine making.

You will get an informative view into the history of wine-making in YanTai. Some choice red wines from ChangYu winery to taste there.

Interesting small museum showing history of wine production and industry but best part was the cellars, wine tasting and free brandy!

I learned something I didn't know. Isn't that what museums are for? Visit fof the history. Taste the wine.

Ironically, I've been to Yantai many times, and have had this wine with my wife's family, have stayed in hotels very near by, walked past the museum a few times, and even purchased the brand back home in NYC, but never made it into the actual museum. So how about the wine? Not bad! Sweet and balanced. I never thought... More

I have a passing interest in wine (ie if some is passed to me I will drink it) and found the museum and cellar an interesting and pleasant way to spend an hour. It is spacious, informative, not expensive, easy-to-walk-to in the centre, and most things are clearly labelled in English. However, no free samples (I really think there should... More

Who would expect to visit a chateau and a perfect wine cellar in a small town in North Eastern China...but hey that's the surprise that Yantai has to offer. A must see!

To many "westerners" surprise, this winery branch actually produces great wines which you will be able to experience here (the ticket includes tasting some wines). The museum offers the usual exhibits, some history and and a large wine cellar. And of course a shop where you can buy some wine related trinkets. You could even buy 100 year old bottles... More

This was a very interesting tour. I had a blast, but at least when we went they did not have an English-speaking tour guide. Many displays do have English translations and I have to believe that we just happened to show up when there wasn't a guide available. Their facilities are impressive, you get to taste some wine, and they... More
