We took the island hopping tour and this was one part of it. The whole island near the lake is truly beautiful and a very serene place. It looks like a pregnant lady sleeping. you need to walk a lil bit on the island but it's a must see.

Dayang Bunting Marble Geoforest Park is one of the 3 geoforest parks in Langkawi Geopark,Malaysia. Among the 3 geoparks, we must say, Dayang Bunting has the most interesting story behind its name. The word ‘Dayang Bunting’ means ‘the pregnant maiden’. From a certain angle, the undulating hills of the Dayang Bunting Island resembles a woman in child-bearing posture, who conceives... More

We were brought here as part of the island hopping tour by a speed boat and got an hour to spend as we wished until the boat came to pick us up. A nice walk through the Dayang Bunting Marble Geo-Forest Park lead us to this beautiful freshwater lake. You will see many monkeys up close while u walk but... More

The Island Hopping tour, Girlfriend and I took was worth it. "Always Her Idea" We paid something like RM35.00 Per Person. The Island Hopping Tour that’s organized to take tourists around the various islands and beaches. There are many Tour station at the Pantai Chenang and the one we took was just in front of AB Hotel. After taking boat to the lake of pregnant maiden for about 10 mins ride, we had to walk quite a distant to the lake. climbing stairs and fighting the monkeys and preventing them from stealing your stuffs. Be careful with you bags. they wont give it back once they got their hands on your stuffs. once you reached the lake,... More

Nice place with divided platform for swimming. However, the waiting time by the boat operator delayed by 45 min. Long wait at the jetty and it got so crowded. Paid $35/pax for the island hopping tour which was arranged by the car rental co. Better to book a private boat if long waiting time is a no no.

This place is great. Becareful with the tours you book, our hotel tried to charge us 450myr each but we found a local company rainforest something that charged 40myr each and that included pick up from the hotel, eagle feeding and the first beach which was dirty but you're only there an hour. Bring water and a towel for this... More

This is fresh water lake in an island in the midst of an ocean. The place is scenic and lovely. We have to walk about 10 mins from the terminal to reach this lake. Since the water is very deep, they have constructed small swimming pools for tourists to enter in the water. There is a myth associated with this... More

If you are on an Island hopping tour.[costs about 60 ringgits per pax], you`ll be dropped for an hour`s time. It`s a beautiful Island and looks like a pregnant woman from a distance[For a fact, any of these Islands together looks like this]. It`s a walk up the hill for a few meters and similarly down the hill after which.... More

Stopped at the lake as part of our jet ski tour. Were there on a reasonable quiet Saturday afternoon, but still the place was packed. Don't want to go there when tourist season is full on. There are some steep steps going to the lake, so not a great idea for those with physical issues. We decided to swim a... More
