Nice place with divided platform for swimming. However, the waiting time by the boat operator delayed by 45 min. Long wait at the jetty and it got so crowded. Paid $35/pax for the island hopping tour which was arranged by the car rental co. Better to book a private boat if long waiting time is a no no.

This place is great. Becareful with the tours you book, our hotel tried to charge us 450myr each but we found a local company rainforest something that charged 40myr each and that included pick up from the hotel, eagle feeding and the first beach which was dirty but you're only there an hour. Bring water and a towel for this... More

This is fresh water lake in an island in the midst of an ocean. The place is scenic and lovely. We have to walk about 10 mins from the terminal to reach this lake. Since the water is very deep, they have constructed small swimming pools for tourists to enter in the water. There is a myth associated with this... More

If you are on an Island hopping tour.[costs about 60 ringgits per pax], you`ll be dropped for an hour`s time. It`s a beautiful Island and looks like a pregnant woman from a distance[For a fact, any of these Islands together looks like this]. It`s a walk up the hill for a few meters and similarly down the hill after which.... More

Stopped at the lake as part of our jet ski tour. Were there on a reasonable quiet Saturday afternoon, but still the place was packed. Don't want to go there when tourist season is full on. There are some steep steps going to the lake, so not a great idea for those with physical issues. We decided to swim a... More

Nice place to go with family. Beautiful views throughout the island hopping trip. Take water and sunblock. Need to climb about 100 steps. Need to be wary of that. Ppl with kids can leave the pram/stroller at the hotel as they won't be used.

Definitely worth a trip to this island and the massive fresh water lake in the centre if you're in Langkawi. We went via jet ski which was great, but there were larger boats doing day trips. Entry is free, you get a workout going up and down all the steps and can see some monkeys on the walk to the... More
