We enjoyed the walk up and down - beware there are steps to be negotiated. The monkeys were a bit annoying and the bins obviously need emptied more often. Also our tour guide said we didn't need money - but you do if you need to go to the toilet! There is a shack to buy drinks and you can... More

For RM30 we did a 3 stop island hopping trip. The pregnant maiden lake was the first stop. Swimming in fresh water after swimming in pools and the sea was really nice, not to mention its was great to have a dip and cool off. The setting and lake itself should make this a 5 star however there are a... More

well worth the visit out to the lake of the pregnant maiden, just watch the monkeys they are quick to take your lunch and belongings. for families with very small children and prams it can be quite challenging making the trip to the lake. great idea of submerged cage like tanks for families and non swimmers to sit and enjoy... We had looked forward to coming here for long time but the reality of dozens of tourist boats with hundreds of tour groups arriving at this little piece of paradise is a bit disappointing. The lake itself is very picturesque. On the day we were there - there was a large population of Macques present these are not being managed... More

Negotiated with the boat operators south of Cenang, to do a cash deal for a four hour trip to view the rock formation that is the Pregnant Lady. The RM320 also included a visit to the lake, eagle feeding/watching, and then two hours of line fishing. Getting to the lake does involve a walk up and down some quite steep... More

Once you reach the island, do being a swimming suit or extra clothes for a swim in the lake. You will have to climb up before reaching the lake. Worth the climb. 👍👍👍

Its a nice , cold and fresh water lake, surrounded by mountain and then salt water, it really amazed me. There were nice platforms for sitting and enjoying the beauty and we swim also. But take care if you are going for swimming, lake is really deep.

Pretty suspicious with the quality of the water but I saw, the lake water is very clean with no strange smell and very cool. One disappointment that make this place 4/5 is the cleanliness with the rubbish bins overflowing and dirty smelling toilets that we pass through, there is no point paying for the toilet if its not well kept... Visited as part of our jet ski safari and it was a pleasure having climbed the numerous steps to reach the lake to jump into refreshing cool water ! The monkeys are always on the look out for food and some can be quite aggressive but don't let this put you off.Just hold on to your belongings !
