The accommodation is nice, very modern and spacious. The views off the balcony were lovely. Couch and bed were comfortable. We stayed in the room with the spa bath but the water must come from the dam on the property, so it was brown and although there is a sign saying its safe to use, I was reluctant... They said... We stayed 2 nights at Ainsworth Estate and it was excellent. Very comfortable and was quite easy to find and the cabin itself was lovely with beautiful views. Would highly recommend a stay there. Phil and Linnett were lovely and everything was well organised.

Ainsworth is in a delightful setting, quiet and easy to access. We were extremely disappointed that we were not told there was no longer a restaurant there as we expected to wine and dine whilst staying there. The bed was extremely comfortable with great bedding. Unfortunately being the end of winter, found the villa cold and lacking in charm a... More

We stayed here on our wedding night in March 2011. Accomodation and setting was lovely, very peaceful. We enjoyed a spa in the Yarra Suite. I was very unimpressed with the 'gourmet breakfast provisions' which included 2 boxes of sanitarium cereal, 2 pieces of white bread, jam and juice. I was expecting something a little more gourmet, especially after our... More

Lovely welcome, fantastic setting but how could they get it so wrong. Restaurant full on mother's day. They knew this. Had to wait 2.5hrs for our meals!!. They had ONE chef on. It's not too hard to engage an assistant when you have full capacity. Also somebody please tell the chef how to make potato mash, lumpy mashed potato under... More

We had a comfortable short drive from Melbourne and felt that we had escaped the pulse of the city - enjoying the peaceful surrounds. Quality Time!

Unique Accomodation...3 units... with views over small lake and picturesque vineyard. The restaurant, an immediately friendly atmosphere leaving one anticipating good food and good company. Once with a large group and once with four friends, a veery positive experience indeed. The food and service were excellent and our group of four friends tried to make reservations for a family group... More

Wonderful setting, and fabulous music on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately the quality of food let them down. The duck risotto was tasteless and tough (more like rolled duck breast). The fishcakes promised to be full of herbs and spices, however they were bland, and could have come from a supermarket freezer section. The Angus steak certainly looked spectacular, but after... Thank you for the positive and negative feedback. We agree, our location, setting and Sunday afternoon music all combine to create a realxing and peaceful atmosphere. Our permanent Chef was away during February and unfortunately some culinary skills were lacking in their replacement. We look forward to welcoming back enjoy our Chef's talents and to try our new seasonal menu's. More
