Did 15 years straight of visiting this place for 1 summer weekend. It is a very family friendly park and offers terrific beaches for swimming. Lots of hiking trails and the potential to fish too. We usually were going as a group of aged 20 somethings. Alwyas had fun, definitely got some noise warnings over the years, but for the... More

We enjoyed a day lounging on the Pinery Beach on a perfect day in September. Paid $16 for the park pass, which is a little steep to go to the beach. There are "free" beaches around this area that are just as nice, check out Bayfield a little north of here.

Good place to seat back and relax. Quiet and refreshing place to be in especially when you live in the city

We just got back from 2 nights of tent camping at The Pinery. It was a great experience for our family of four! We stayed in the Burley campground. The sites are very pretty with lots of shade and a fair amount of privacy. The bathrooms/shower facilities are very clean and conveniently located throughout the campgrounds. The beach was very... Very expansive amount of land in this Provincial Park. The roads and campgrounds are well maintained. We had a great time on the Day Use beach. It was very clean.

This park is almost 10 square miles with about 8 miles of lake Huron shore line. Much of the park verges on wilderness. This is NOT a suburban or county type park. there are NO lawns, ball fields, sports courts, playgrounds or picnic grounds (although there are a good number of picnic tables along park roads). Beaches are not wide... More

Every year we stay for a week at the Pinery. It's clean and well maintained. Nice trails, beaches and sites. This year we brought our puppy and used the dog beaches. Although the weather was not the best, we still had a great time. We were lucky the tornado missed us in July but some home owners closer to town... More

The park is very well maintained. Camping is good but you must book early to get a good site. The natural habitat is unique and incredibly beautiful. The beaches are clean and the water clear and beautiful. One of our favourite places to picnic and to spend a beach day.

It is really nice there is a nice beach but it is a really big campground so if you have young kids watch to make sure they don't get lost!
