Beaches are like the Baltic beaches with the difference that the water in the Baltic is freezing regardless of the temperature of the air and the Huron water in Pinery and other Lambton Shores beaches hugs you in balmy embrace.

We camped here for five days in mid-June before the crowds arrived. We were located in the Riverside section. The sites here are generally a decent size and well treed. Most have a sense of privacy. The area is serviced by nice shower and bathroom facilities and a number of vault toilets that were not objectionable. The park is great... More

Spent the day at the beach at the Piney. The day pass was $17. If you prefer privacy and peacefulness while at the beach, it is worth the money for the day pass. If you like people watching, then pay for parking and use the main beach at the end of the main street in Grand Bend.

We come back every year and camp in the Riverside area. Good privacy and shade on most sites. We like this park because of the lack of mosquitoes.

We have been camping for 6 summers now and we can't help but got back to the pinery every year. It is our familiy's favourite. The beach is incredible and the hiking and biking are also top notch. I find the sites to be very private but you do need to make sure to choose a private site upon reserving.

I used to come here a long time ago (maybe 5 years ago), and the beach was beautiful. Lots of space between the water and the grass area. This year the water level has come up so much that there is only a couple of meters left of the beach. This makes it harder to find a spot, and the... More

Amazing, beautiful park. Many activities (camping, canoeing, biking, swimming) in a unique natural setting. The beaches are awesome and worth the trip to the park all by themselves.

The Pinery is known to be a beautiful park; however, I was disappointed. It's possible they don't have the funding to properly care for the facilities, but I don't think that's possible as the prices they charge for additional parking would certainly be enough to pay for a student to clean the bathrooms. Definitely glad I brought my "tupperware potty"... More

This is a really nice park to check out or camp in if you are in Grand Bend. Lots of trails and the sand dunes are really beautiful.
