I would just like to say how much we enjoyed our vineyard tour yesterday. The guide (dean) was very amusing and was very informative. The surroundings are stunning well worth it just for teh view. The afternoon tea was also very nice. Would recommend this trip. Thank you all the staff.

Worth visiting to see an English winery in action. Luke's wine tour informative and fun (Luke is a down to earth and funny host). No complaints about the restaurant food and home grown wine both of which are worth investigating, although the restaurant is stuffy and overheated and the interior cheap modernist chic (dodgy Ikea and waggish footballer's den vibe... Had a lovely time on vineyard tour with wine tasting followed by superb afternoon tea which included sarnies, cakes, cream scones, unlimited tea/coffee and a lovely glass of bubbly! Luke the tour guide was knowledgeable and has a great dry wit. Would definitely recommend.

We had booked a table and visited the vineyard cafe on a Saturday prior to taking the vineyard tour. The cafe was very busy, hot, noisy with a strong smell of cooking fat and the staff appeared very flustered and completely disorganised. The service was very slow, there just didn't appear to be sufficient staff to cope and they appeared... More

The setting and views from this vinyard restaurant are stunning and I would recommend anyone go just for this and the journey there. However, on ordering, a very surly male staff refused to make any wine recommendations, which in a vinyard, I found extraordinary!! The food took an inordinately long time to arrive and I was advised it was because... More

I was a little sceptical when I heard about a vineyard in Holmfirth but we had a fascinating tour behind the scenes topped off with a top class lunch. The tour was informative and fast paced, ending with three glasses of wine to taste the produce. Lunch has to be preordered when you arrive but wasn't a disappointment. My chicken... More

I had a breakfast tour bought for me and I did get a tour just not the one I expected! I got lost en-route and ended up "off roading" in a little Peugeot 207! Not that this is in anyway the fault of the Holmfirth Vineyard - that was down to my own stupidity and a sat nav that "knew... More

We stayed on the vineyar, all weekend, to celebrate an anniversary. The tour was informative and entertaining, our guide ( Friday 9/7/15 at 10.30) was knowledgable, informative and funny .. The tasting was fun. Lunch afterwards, with a bottle of wine from the vineyard ( obviously) was the best plough and lunch we've ever had .. Good old Yorkshire fayre.... More
