Visited here with a living social deal on a very cold afternoon. Due to weather we did not tour the outside, which to be honest was fine as there is not a lot to see in February!! The chap who did the information giving seemed very knowledgeable and I did learn quite a lot about the process of wine making,... More

I booked the vineyard for my 30th birthday party and I couldn't have been happier. The staff were swift to respond to any of my questions via email and when I went to visit, even though they were leaving, they opened up and answered all my questions. On the night itself the staff behind the bar were really nice and... More

Haven't been there for a couple of months, but now things have definately gone downhill. Service was very very slow and not particularly friendly. Waiter too busy polishing glasses to even acknowledge us or take an order. Food arrived in a sloppy fashion, more coffee in the saucer than in the cup. Dirty cleaning cloths, cleaning materials and large plastic... More

We arrived around 1pm, it wasn't busy, a few other tables and us..2. We were told not to sit at a table for 2 as they were for afternoon tea bookings, after ordering our wine was delivered and then our starters arrived, my husbands garlic mushrooms were, quote 'okay, but watery sauce' my deep fried brie was cold, the waitress... We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and the vineyard's stylish cafe/restaurant. A shame it was foggy on the tour has you couldn't see the waterfall and mountainous area and it was freezing!! We had been recommended Dean for the tour but unfortunately didn't have him. The tour was interesting even tho the tour guide yawned all the way through, think he... More

Had a delightful day, starting with bucks fizz and then a very enjoyable brunch (about 8 choices). The tour of the vineyard is extremely informative, finishing with wine tasting. The whole experience is about 2 hours, definitely something for everyone The views from the restaurant are to die for too. Would definitely recommend people to visit, truly a hidden gem.

We went last week and whan we got there we werent greated, just sat down at a table, had a cuppa and breakfast which we finished before 9am, we were just sat round then twiddling our fingers for about 40 mins, people were looking around at each other wondering why nothing was explained on arrival. The "tour guide" eventually spoke... More

After visiting this vineyard recently for a tour, wine tasting and lunch (Christmas present from our beautiful daughter) we felt greatly let down by our experience for a variety of reasons. Firstly, lunch is included in the package but unfortunately the choice of menu is very limited particularly for Vegetarians. The only 'veg' option is a Risotto which my wife... More

We went to vineyard tour with afternoon tea. The tour takes you into the vineyard on a cold chilly day, the tour guide was extremely entertaining. Once back inside you get to taste 3 different wines. The afternoon tea was very tasty. Overall an excellent day had. We stayed in a pub in Holmfirth village which is within uphill walking... More

My hubby had a voucher for a wine tasting experience as a Christmas gift. We went on a cold day and didn't know what to expect. Our tour guide was Dean who really knew his stuff. We learnt loads and he was informative and very funny. We had a gorgeous meal at lunchtime in their café. Luke was in charge... More
