My sister and I went on this trip through Groupon and on arrival we were promptly told off for not reading the voucher properly and then told we had to pay £10 for the afternoon tea, however we were 20 minutes early and we were not asked if we would like a drink while we waited in fact the Manager... Just returned from a vineyard tour and 2 course lunch which i bought on a Groupon deal for £50 and had to pay a £10 per person upgrade for a Saturday booking so £70 in total. The weather was horrendous on arrival so presumed quite rightly that we wouldn't actually get a tour of the vineyard itself but we're still... More

Bought the travel zoo overnight package for my husband for Christmas and had a great time. The accommodation is great very tastefully decorated etc , if you are wine buff then you are going to be disappointed as the vineyard is very much in its infancy and therefore not producing vintage bottles (yet!) but the overall experience and dean as... I take my hat off to the drive and imagination shown by the owners of the vineyard - this is still in its relative infancy and hence I suspect very dependent on the visiting parties for income, which I guess leads to some of the comments re the size of tour groups. The fact is the business now employees 10... More

Upon stepping through the door I knew this was not going to go well.I was immediately struck by how dirty the place was,the floors and table bases were filthy. The kids area immediately inside the door was revoltingly grimy. The large glass show cabinet was dirty and in the main empty. We went round the corner to the" check in" book at the... Enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the tour with a very personable guide. Started the tour outside on the hill side before heading in to the warehouse where the wine is made and bottled. Sampled three wines before heading in to the restaurant for afternoon tea. We were all given a glass of mulled wine to warm us through while they... More

Arrive early! If you arrive within 30 minutes of a tour you will prbably find the carpark full (requiring the use of a second more distant one) and nowhere to sit whilst you wait. For us, we got the last close car parking spot but there were only outside tables to wait at (for 30 minutes on a cold March... More

We had the afternoon tea and tour given as a. Christmas present. The tour consisted of a walk in the vineyard hosted by. Luke, who was very knowledgable and gave an amusing talk about the history of the vineyard and how the different types of grape become wine. We then went into the winery, where Dean was equally knowledgable and... More

First visit to the vineyard restaurant. The service was efficient and friendly. It was really busy so we did have a bit of a wait for food but when it came it was delicious. Would probably advise to book as we were just lucky to have a table for one hour. Great views across the valley. Looking forward to next... More
