Great experience but beware of eating the food with your hands!

Now don't get me wrong I have been to similar shows elsewhere in the world and so was expecting something quality and professional......no. When you first arrive it all looks impressive with guardsmen on their horses for photo opportunities.....until you get in. The castle itself is absolutely spectacular to look at and is huge inside. On entering the castle you... More

4 of us went to see this show and were not disappointed. We had seen something similar in Kissimmee, Florida some 20 years ago and it is still an enjoyable evening. The fights, battles and horsemanship was great and got everyone into the mood. Visitors soon got transformed from sedate tourists into screeming, clapping and yelling support for their team.... They have tried to do it all as it used to be at the time of the knights with two teams fighting for the kingdom in a kind of arena while the public is having diner and encouraging its favorite(s). I saw reviews saying that the food is disgusting but that's wrong. As said, they try to stick to the... More

Arriving at night, the castle looks amazing under the lighting. The horses at the door are an excellent moment for the best picture of the night and once inside the decoration and ambient are in great detail. Its once you are sitting down when things get very, very wrong.... Cold metal plates and no cutlery is used, wine bottles clearly... More

Myself, 15 year old daughter and husband went here the Saturday before Christmas. It was so quiet but they still put on a brilliant show. The horsemanship was amazing and very professional. Really good atmosphere and all actors made it a brilliant experience. Food was fun. Soup and chicken without cutlery. Wine a bit eurgh but a mix of all... More

Had been here once before but this night was different, better, excellent, we stayed at the punt a del rey which meant was only a 40min bus ride to here but some from the north of Tenerife had been on the coach nearly 2 hours, think there should have been a stop on the way for them as people were... We went on this night out as a family during our holiday in costa adeje. Although the show and costumes were very good there were a few things that let it down. The main thing was the two dogs in the show, one of which looked distressed by the noise and the fireball that landed very close to him. My... More

We traveled just a short distance to the venue which was quite impressive - but as it turned out that was the highlight. The horses were OK but the jousting and mock fighting were a joke. The food was awful (dishwater soup with a dry roll followed by a WHOLE chicken and a potato) and the wine was worse. Everything... More

We came from Puerto de la Cruz on a coach – this took 2 hours, after we had picked people up from various hotels en-route. On arrival I can’t deny that I was impressed by the purpose built castle, which is pretty big as it contains the jousting arena and another seated area for stage shows. Horses and knights greeted... It's well worth the money when you think of the transport and the hearty food and lots and lots of wine and other drinks. The entertainment was non-stop and everyone was really friendly - top night out!!! Would definitely recommend.
