Here you will learn about the values of the environmental reserve in a pleasant yet rigorously scientific way by visiting our Museum and our Tunnel of Historic Experience in which we travel through the most significant passages of southern Tenerife’s past.- The second part consists of a walk through the Nature Reserve itself (55 min), which is full of surprises, and will give you a clear idea of how the area’s inhabitants used to live. « less

For 7.50 eoros per person this must be the best value 2 hours on the island. It would be a real shame if you stay here and don't take the chance to see the stunning volcanic ravine and to hear the history of the island.

As we were staying in the Sandos San Blas Hotel we decided to take the tour of the Ambiental Reserve. This is a fun, informative and enjoyable trip. There is quite a bit of walking but it is not too strenuous and should suit all abilities - wear comfortable shoes/sandals and do not forget the sunscreen or camera! There is... More

What a educational AND enjoyable way to learn more about this beautiful island. All the different aspects well presented and clearly explained. The guide was knowledgeable and proud to tell the story and share his heritage. We highly recommend this attraction to Tenerife visitors.

We decided to go to this nature reserve having found it on Trip Advisor as being near to our villa, "Tenerife South's hidden gem" and lovely according to previous reviews. It was signposted from the road but the sign posts later disappeared so we parked at the hotel and went in to ask at reception. The receptionist was incredibly rude... More

A great experience and a lovely morning walk through the local nature reserve there in San Blas. We started with a short walk through a historical tunnel experiencing life from time gone by. It has small senarios of life, set up as you walk through the tunnel using all your senses to see, smell, hear, feel etc how life used... More

To understand the history of this island a visit to the reserve and it's museum is a must. An interesting and informative visit that showed how the island developed through a little bit of living history.

We took this tour because we were staying at Sandos San Blas and this was moments from the hotel and would take around 2 hours or so. We were not interested in full/half day tours and this was comparatively a lot cheaper too (Eur 14 approx.). This is a hidden gem and a must do if you are visiting South... More

I wonder how many people stay at the San Blast and miss this exceptional gem. It a weird and wonderful semi desert world, moon like, beautiful and bizarre at the same time. I trekked around it at lunchtime, so it was completely quiet, adding to the ambience, and used a map provided by the hotel. It is an amazing mini... More
