Enjoyed this tour, but it was rough underfoot and there were some steep areas. Went in December and it was very warm - must be boiling in the summer so wear a hat and take some water. The hotel says it is for all ages but I would not take young children on this tour.

Large area of sandstone carved by water to fantastic forms and shapes. A great canyon in the center with signs of being of ritual cult thousend of years ago. Many endemic plants and birds of Tenerife. Lots of paths make access easy. A "must see"! Guided tour is possible, but it is also nice on one's own.

I loved this place and went for a 2 hour walk there every day of my stay. But do take a guided walk first otherwise some of the meaning is missing. The scenery and the wildlife are stunning in the gorge. An absolute must if you're visiting this part of Tenerife. But do take plenty of drinking water with you... More

This reserva is full of surprises and you will most certainly enjoy it, although it is not very well known or advertised. Be aware of the price, however. It is 7.5 euro only for the Sandos hotel quests and that is the price for the tour. The entrance to the reserve, where you walk around and watch all those amazing... More

As part of our holiday at the Sandos San Blas Resort we did the Nature Reserve walk and what an experience. We started off at the Hotel where the guide explained what we would be doing for the next 2 hours. I will not spoil the experience at the hotel but you will be very pleasantly surprised and this part... More

worth the two hours it took to go round the exhibition and reserve. Best on a cloudy day as the reserve could become very hot
