Entering Stefano´s Academia needs some time (at least 30 minutes) to enjoy a complete wine experience. Professor Stefano will lead you through a very complete Chianti wine tasting experience mixed with classical music, art and philosophy. He speaks Italian, English and many other languages. Don´t be shy, introduce yourself, and give something in exchange. Stefano does not charge for the... More

We really stumbled upon this one, we decided to do a "build your own" tour of some wine cellars in Tuscany that were just a bus ride away from Florence - so we ended up in Panzano for a few hours. We saw this peculiar looking man standing in his store smiling to us while entertaining a few guests -... More

A great way to conclude our adventure in Tuscany! Stefano is a great host, very knowledgeable about Chianti area wines, very entertaining, and very patient with his customers. His goal is to make wine tasting as pleasant an experience as possible... and he certainly succeeded with us. Certainly one of the highlights of our Italian wine experience.

Wow!! There is wine tasting... And then there is wine tasting with Stefano. I choose the latter! We had an absolute blast. Through 12 (or so) small house wines we got wine lessons, art lessons, and life lessons. If you are planning a trip to Tuscano, don't miss Stefano! You will not be disappointed. Unless of course, you don't like... More

A wonderful place to pop in and sample wines from the Chianti region! Stefano is a great character - dressed in his art gear and Italian hat - he'll take you on a journey through some delightful Chianti Classico wines and Super Tuscan blends - as well as some sweet wines too. This is all set in his studio-come-wineshop. In... More

The 'proffesor' Stefano welcomed us in the little village of Panzano... He's really a special man !! half wine expert, half artist tells you some nice stories about wine, with lots of humor ! And he let you taste lots of wines... from the low priced wines to the more expensive ones. He has lots of choices to buy and... More

Our stop in this wine shop in Greve exceeded all of our expectations. It was surreal and an experience. It felt as if we had just walked into an amazing Italian movie set. With Italian opera playing in the background, the wine (and olive oil) tasting, along with our visit with Stefano made this a perfect ending to our incredible... More

We tasted many wines and were thoroughly entertained by Stefano! There is no fee but you will want to purchase some of his wines and perhaps his artwork. Best experience of our trip!
