The wine was great and the entertainment from Stefano was just as good. He entertained several groups at once and was friendly and generous. Couldn't recommended it more

Based on very positive Trip Advisor reviews, I booked a tasting for 8 people with Stefano and he introduced us to 21(!) different wines, with some very interesting surprises mixed in. I highly recommend a visit with Stefano to sample his wines and hear his philosophies on life whist being serenaded with Italian Opera. Take your time and enjoy the... More

My wife and I stopped by the Accademia for wine tasting based on TripAdvisor reviews, and we enjoyed the whole experience very much. We were offered more wines to try than we expected (the tasting portions were much more generous than we expected too), and we really liked all of them - so we had a hard time choosing which... We turned our day trip over to our guide Riccardo Scarafoni from Lucca and he took us to Stefano's "Accademia del Buon Gusto and we had a wonderful time tasting his wines, and seeing his artistic stick paintings. Stefano is warm, funny and with his wonderful hat we fell in love with this beautiful area. Thank you Riccardo for introducing... More

This is a wonderful experience. Stefano the owner is so warm and welcoming and makes this so much fun. He wont let you leave until you have tasted all his wines and then he is happy to sell but not pushy. This is a real treat. We ended up buying 6 bottles and they were very reasonable. I would highly... More

We popped in without a reservation and asked for an education. 24 wines later we begged him to stop :) Stefano is lovely and knowledgeable and approachable. He made tasting the wines of the area fun. Shipping is not cheap but his wines are very well priced.

The review " the best Chianti has to offer" 25th July perfectly describes the experiance. An experiance is certainly what this is; My husband and I have had wine tastings throughout Australia, Spain and France and this has to be by far the best. Stephano is so generous not only with his extensive wine tasting list but also his knowledge... More

We were surprised by the location. It's small and halfway up a fairly steep hill in Panzano. My boyfriend and I were recommended to go here after visiting Il Molino de Grace winery and we are so glad we did! Stefano was funny, but not at the expense of his guests, which was lovely. We tried at least 15 wines... More

My college roommate and I explored the Chianti region for two days as part of a two week Italy trip. After the first day of driving through the countryside only to be turned away by vineyards or gouged by overpriced, impersonal tastings we set out on day day 2 slightly discouraged. What we found in Panzano and at Stefano's Academia... More
