We stumbled in here by chance, just looking for a bottle of wine. A long time later we emerged having had the best experience of many a holiday. Stefano is a charming gentleman who clearly loves his wine, this region, his family, his guests and life in general. He talked through tasting several wines (and chocolate) and we ended up... More

We just happened upon this little wine shop before dinner one evening. Stefano gave us directions to our restaurant and said he ordinarily would offer us some wine for tasting but he had to be at home with his family. He asked us to return another evening promising it would be well worth our while. We took him up on... More

My friend and I enjoyed learning about the wines of the region with a good belly laugh or two along the way.

It's not often that one is given the opportunity to have an experience that changes you. Spending an afternoon with Stefano changes you. His joy of living, family and wines will transport you to a very happy place somewhere in Tuscany. We heard about Stefano on TA and made sure our travels took us to Panzano. We walked up to... More

Just wine tasting? - not at all. I will remember this for a long time. We stumbled on Stefano's little shop by chance meeting him in the street to ask directions. He was such a warm and welcoming fellow that we stopped back again. Stefano showed us on of the reasons why we should travel, enjoy and find friends around... More

I've been back 3 times. Stefano loves his calling almost as much as he loves his family, which is evident everywhere- a wonderful and knowledgable wine man who's enthusiasm and passion percolates in a calm, simmering style. As the wines flow, he gains momentum and so does the wine. The world should have many more of him but there's only... More

Located in the old square in Panzano is a delightful place to learn about Tuscan wines and olive oil, discuss philosophy, enjoy the company of other travelers and revel in the company of Stefano. He offers a "tour of Tucany" through the tasting of his selection of wines, Italian opera playing in the background. His priority of family, friends and... More

Wine tasting has never been this much fun. Stefano is the master of masters, with an unparalleled passion for local wine and food. Non-patronizing with a unique sense of humor, Stefano teaches his "students" how to taste, what to look for, along with completely useless anecdotes which only make this more fun.

We dropped into this small cellar-like wine shop on very cold and windy day and found so much warmth inside in the prrson of the owner, Stefanio, who greeted us in a traditional Tuscan hat. He proceeded to letting us taste these gorgeous Chiantis and other lovely stuff. We will fondly remember this special encounter by sipping excellent wines and... More
