Wine tasting has never been this much fun. Stefano is the master of masters, with an unparalleled passion for local wine and food. Non-patronizing with a unique sense of humor, Stefano teaches his "students" how to taste, what to look for, along with completely useless anecdotes which only make this more fun.

We dropped into this small cellar-like wine shop on very cold and windy day and found so much warmth inside in the prrson of the owner, Stefanio, who greeted us in a traditional Tuscan hat. He proceeded to letting us taste these gorgeous Chiantis and other lovely stuff. We will fondly remember this special encounter by sipping excellent wines and... More

Great dude with a knowledge and true passion for vino and more... A must see to verify what your personal Chianti direction is before you steer your ship into the deep red sea of delicousness.

An extremely nice guy, his story about philosophy kept me thinking for weeks later I was wondering does anyone have a video of him?

Wow! Must go check this out and I recommend walking from the centre of town as you will discover all this abstractly painted stickmen in black and red. They are an awesome addition to this town but are then are sold in Accademia del Buon Gusto. It's a journey to the actual journey that Stefano will take you on. You... More

Stefano is incredible! My husband read many reviews saying this is a must do and they were right. Stefano customized the experience to our liking, finding us some wonderful wines based on our tastes and teaching us great deal about wine, the region, and life. An experience like no other. You must go! Visited in April 2013

While in Panzano you simply must stop into Accademia del Buon Gusto and spend some time with Stefano! He's not only extremely kind and welcoming but also has a deep knowledge of the wine in the region and is happy to help you taste many (MANY) different wines! We stopped in for what we thought would be a 20-minute visit... More

We spent a late morning, before lunch, tasting at least 15 or so wines, and being entertained by the very charming Stefano. He absolutely adores what he does and his charming smile and one act show were one of the highlights of our two, week trip. The stick figure works of art with wine glasses are hard to pass up, and... This is the fourth time I have been to Stefano's Accademia del Buon Gusto and as usual he did not disappoint. He has a great working knowledge of the local wines and other food products and presents them in a very entertaining way. I was with a group of friends and wine afficianados who were first time travelers to Italy.... More

We had a enigmatic afternoon here. Upon entering we where warmly welcomed by Stefano .. the wine professor .. what appeared a mere goofy way of tasting wine turned out to be a great lesson on local Chianti wineries. Stefano knows all about wine and knows how to entertain his customers. We tasted a plethora of wines and went home... More
