Stefano really enjoys what he does and transmits this to everyone who visit his place. He takes time to explain and share wine and chocolate, his paintings are also very special

A real experience. That is what the owner wants to give you. I stayed for 45 minutes, and had at least 3 wow experiences. Especially the chocolates in combination with the wines. And that in a very relaxed ambiance with opera music in the background. Lots of wines to taste, a story with each of them. I like wine stores... More

I can only echo what others have written. A visit to Accademia del Buon Gusto is to spend time with a local expert on Chianti wines, and Stefano's passion is contagious. I have a low tolerance for "phony" and can detect one from a distance, and I have to disagree with another reviewer who thought this was mere show. Stefano... More

A visit with Stefano was one of the best experiences we had in Italy. He is very dedicated and knowledgeable about wines and takes time to let you experience them for yourself. He said that he like to provide the experience to his visitors that he would expect if he were a tourist, and that he does. The only regret... More

If you have the time you should visit the Accademia Buon Gusto in Panzano. But if you have only limited time - just ask for a quick wine recommendation and skip the tastings. Panzano is a very small town in Tuscany - in the wine region that produces some great Italian red wines, and is a short driving distance from... More

We visited Stefano after a great review from a friend so expectations were high and he beat our expectations from his accademia. We had a very enjoyable 2 hour tasting and talked about wines and the tuscany region. You can immediately tell that he is very passionate about wines which makes visiting his shop very enjoyable! If you drop by... More

I needed a few bottles of quality wine to go with dinner and this establishment was open and close by. I really don't want to be a grumpy old Hector but I could not escape fast enough. On the plus side there were several good wines to taste for free with no pressure to buy BUT as soon as we... More

Stefano offers adults the chance to enter a magical "cave" and enjoy the delights of wines from within a 30 kilometre area - true Tuscan treats! At first glance, the little shop belies the experience about to unfold, if only you are prepared to let your tastebuds enjoy the trip around some delightful Chianti wines. One of our group had... A must do in Panzano, meeting Stefano and experience his expertise on wine and life will change you! We took the route to Panzano from Florence, which is a very pretty drive and you can stop in several Castles and Wineries on the way. We stumble upon the Accademia del Buon Gusto by pure luck, the coziness of the place... More

This little shop lot in the little square in Panzano is a gem for those visiting the Chianti region. A trip to Chianti is only truly made complete with an afternoon with Stefano (the owner) walking thru a range of Chianti wines. We tasted a total of probably 15 wines over the course of 2 days + some truffle infused... More
