Thanks very much to the crew and staff of Casey's Skellig Island Tours. Our hotel in Sneem called to see if they were going out. We found out that they were, but were leaving is less than an hour. They held the boat and waited for us to arrive. Wow, we sure appreciated that, because it turned out to be... More

My 14 year old son and I booked a trip to Skellig Michael. We called the number on the company website the day before, and on the morning of visit they called us back to confirm we were still going, as weather conditions can determine departure. Portmagee itself is small and has clean public toilets, a café and an hotel.... More

We had a great boat ride out to Skellig Michael. Our boat captain was very helpful, as I have a bit of a handicap, and needed lots of help getting into and out of the boat. On the way back to Portmagee he drove us by Little Skellig, and showed us beautiful scenery and thousands of gannets. All in all,... More

The islands themselves are so interesting. I highly recommend bringing water and as little stuff to carry when making the climb as possible. It alternately rained and was steaming hot. Sturdy shoes a must. I disliked hearing that the guides ate some of the puffins.

Our trip to Skellig Michael was absolutely incredible, and Captain Casey provided an excellent boat trip to the island. After our hike on the island, he looped us all the way around the island so we could see the entire island, not just the portion with the monastery. After looping Skellig Michael, he took us around Little Skellig as well.... More

Going out to Skellig Michael was a top priority. I was very nervous the seas would be too rough and we would not be able to go. I booked the boat ride with Brendan Casey several months in advance--he returned all emails very promptly (which is not the case with the other boat tours). The morning we were to depart... More

The boat trip to Skelligs with Casey's was the best ever experience in my life! Make sure you have some raincoat as you can get wet on the boat. Very nice and reliable service, really can recommend. Even though the trip is quite expensive (50eur pp), it's worth it!!! Make sure you book your trip in advance as this is... More

My husband and I used Casey's Boat Tours to get out to the Skellig Islands and had an awesome time! We had made reservations about two weeks in advance and luckily had weather good enough to travel in. Our B&B hosts were kind enough to call the day before and confirm our reservations as well. We met Brendan Casey the... More
