We planned our itinerary for 9 months, and Skellig was my top priority of must sees. On the day we had scheduled to go to Skellig, the weather was not favourable, so we waited one more day - and we rang Brendan Casey at 8 am and were told that we would be going today. Our Escort on the day... More

Although I did not climb to the top, I am so glad I had the experience of the island. Our guide was great, the boat ride was smooth and the day was great. Highly recommend this to those who are or are not faint of heart!

I booked my trip to the Skelligs with Casey's Tour about a week before my visit and I am glad I did. They were very prompt in getting back to me and giving me all the information I would need upon my arrival via email. The boat ride was a fun experience, views were stunning, we had a lovely sunny... Brendan Casey is THA man. I was staying in Cahersiveen and he gave me a lift to Portmagee. The boat ride was amazing and the waves were huge but I felt totally safe as our captain has been doing this for 25 years and started sailing when he was 6. The visit of the island itselft is very interesting as... More

I have been wanting to go to the Skellig Islands for quite some time . . . I was not dissapointed! The trip was fantastic! The ferry ride out to the Islands was refreshing and the views were amazing! (we even saw some dolphins plaing in the water on the way back). We were given plenty of time on the... More

We booked the trip via Internet and hoped that it would take place. After five days off, due to bad weather, our trip took place. The passage was very rough, because of high waves and a lot of wind. At Skellig we watched puffins the whole time. In my opinion the way up to the monastery, was too risky to... More

All I can say is "breathtakingly beautiful"! When we found Skellig Michael on the internet, we hoped the weather would be good enough that the boats would go. We were very fortunate to have superb weather. There is no charge for Skellig itself, but the boat ride is 50 euros. 650 steps (or so) up to the top, and then... More

Cannot give this firm enough praise. We were scheduled to go to Skellig Michael but the trip was cancelled due to bad weather. When we asked if we could get on the next day's trip, we were told that unfortunately the boat was full. At breakfast the next morning, one of the hotel personnel informed us that Casey's had called... More

Thanks very much to the crew and staff of Casey's Skellig Island Tours. Our hotel in Sneem called to see if they were going out. We found out that they were, but were leaving is less than an hour. They held the boat and waited for us to arrive. Wow, we sure appreciated that, because it turned out to be... More

My 14 year old son and I booked a trip to Skellig Michael. We called the number on the company website the day before, and on the morning of visit they called us back to confirm we were still going, as weather conditions can determine departure. Portmagee itself is small and has clean public toilets, a café and an hotel.... More
