We booked ahead with Brendan Casey and were very glad we did. We were the last ones to arrive, the boat was full and we left immediately as the first boat. Though it was a sunny day, the sea was a bit choppy, so take something against seasickness if you are prone to it. The rock and its settlement are... More

We booked our tour and sadly when we called the day before; it was cancelled due to weather conditions. This was one of the tours we were dying to go on in Ireland. We told Mr. Casey that we really wanted to go and if the weather improved and there was a cancelation that we would like to go. Mr.... More

To go to the Skellig was on my list for years to do, so we were lucky to get out the last day the Island was open this year. It was a fantastic trip on the boat so so calm and on our way we say hump back whales, fin whales & minki whales and loads and loads of dolphins.... More

Book with Casey. Obviously you book this trip to visit Skellig Michael, but Casey will give you more. He sailed us around the smaller Skellig, which is impressive with is abundance of birds. He made sure we all noticed the wild life by pointing out diving birds and dolphins! When the dolphins appeared he slowed the boat and circled (ensuring... More

This was, by far, the best thing that my husband and I did in Ireland. It was an incredible trip. We showed up at 9:30 AM, and at 10 we were speeding away to the islands. The views of the coastline out to the islands are beautiful, but nothing compares to the beauty of Skellig Michael. It was absolutely the... More

My friend and I had our hearts set on a trip to the island during our tour of Ireland. When we arrived in the area, we were informed that no boats had been out for the last three days due to rough seas. A big storm was blowing in and it was raining. Calls to two boat companies that evening... More

We were incredibly fortunate to book this trip on one of the nicest weather days of the summer. Casey's was easy to book with (need to book far in advance in the summer months), they texted me the day before to confirm, and you pay cash on the boat. The trip over was great with calm seas. The climb up... More

Brendan Casey, in this case, rather than St. Brendan, but an auspicious name just the same. Skellig Michael is about eight miles out in the open Atlantic, and transport is by small, open boat. We felt in good hands with Casey's.

My self and my girlfriend travelled to the skellig islands with Casey's. I was a bit anxious given my real fear of water and from reading the reviews on this website. The journey out was bumpy ( that's putting it mildly) but that just happened to be the conditions on our trip. It was a first for me on the... More

I only have to look at a boat to feel sick, so I was a little nervous. I took a stugeron travel sickness pill 10 mins before each departure and I was fine, even though there was a healthy swell once we were out of the bay. Brendan is a relaxed fella and a safety first kinda guy. You'll feel... More
