Sail away with us on a memorable voyage. You will board our authentic Brigantine Thalassa at the picturesque old port of Fira.We will set sail for the small port of the volcano. When we arrive your guide will lead you up to the rim of the volcanic crater where smoke rises up and the stones are hot to the touch. Remember to bring good walking shoes and a hat to protect you from the sun.Leaving the volcano, our ship heads for the “hot springs”. There you can bathe in the warm waters (don’t forget your bathing suite and towel) . During the remainder of our voyage, we pass by Thirassia, where you have the chance to swim again in the blue crystal cleal waters while the captain and his crew prepare plenty of traditional Greek meze (appetizers) and you’ll have the chance to taste the renowned wine from Santorini. Next we come to the northern tip of Santorini and the town of Ia with its two small seaports Ammoudi and Armeni. From our sailing boat we have a unique vantage point for viewing the lovely traditional settlement of Ia. Here you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then we will set the sails and head back to Fira enjoying the wine and live saxophone music as the sun magically sets into the sea. « less

We all had an amazing day and far better to organise a private charter for the 6 of us so we could do what we wanted and in the time we wanted, the crew were really friendly and most welcoming, as well as great sailors, they were great photographers, chefs and waiters! The meal they prepared as well as the... More

I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting santorini. The tour guide Christina is knowledgeable and keeps you entertained during the hiking. The other boat crew were great as well and very friendly. I wasn't sure how the live saxophone playing would be but it was actually really nice and definitely added to the overall aura of the sunset.... More

We really enjoyed our afternoon out on Thalassa (9/2014) -- the crew and our guide (Christina) were great and knowledgeable. Many of the other caldera cruises are cheap, but looked to be VERY crowded (standing room only!). This was not the case on Thalassa -- there was more than enough room for everyone to sit down, spread out, and enjoy... More

This excursion would not be the same without Christina and the rest of the crew. They made our experience very entertaining and educational. Fotis was also very nice and patient while explaining all the particularities of the boat to my sailing-enthusiast husband. Every part of the excursion was fun, I loved the hike up to the volcano, the swim in... More

This multi-part half-day tour begins at the ancient port in Fira (accessible by cable car) and sails to the new volcano island (nea kameni) where we disembarked and hiked up the mountain for a 360 degree view of the entire caldera. It was exhilarating but tiring. It would have been better to have known that we would have to hike... More

My husband and I rented out the Thalassa, five years ago, the evening prior to our wedding. It only seemed right to sail on Thalassa again, this time with our three year old daughter. We'd never experienced the full volcano hike, swim, etc. and it was so much fun. The volcano hike is much more brutal than we anticipated, but... More

Kristina was a great guide, and the other crew also made the experience very memorable. The volcano walk is a bit taxing, the hills are steep and crumbly so you must wear sold shoes. My favourite part was probably the ocean swimming and jumping off the boat.

We enjoyed the afternoon and evening on Thalassa. Christina was amazing right from the start and the rest of the crew were just excellent. Christina ( my fellow Greek) explained our activities and she was much better than we expected. A real that on our last night in Santorini. The swim off the boat and the colour of the water... More
