Sail away with us on a memorable voyage. You will board our authentic Brigantine Thalassa at the picturesque old port of Fira.We will set sail for the small port of the volcano. When we arrive your guide will lead you up to the rim of the volcanic crater where smoke rises up and the stones are hot to the touch. Remember to bring good walking shoes and a hat to protect you from the sun.Leaving the volcano, our ship heads for the “hot springs”. There you can bathe in the warm waters (don’t forget your bathing suite and towel) . During the remainder of our voyage, we pass by Thirassia, where you have the chance to swim again in the blue crystal cleal waters while the captain and his crew prepare plenty of traditional Greek meze (appetizers) and you’ll have the chance to taste the renowned wine from Santorini. Next we come to the northern tip of Santorini and the town of Ia with its two small seaports Ammoudi and Armeni. From our sailing boat we have a unique vantage point for viewing the lovely traditional settlement of Ia. Here you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then we will set the sails and head back to Fira enjoying the wine and live saxophone music as the sun magically sets into the sea. « less

On the day we took the sunset cruise the weather was warm, the volcano was hot but you need to visit it, the hot springs were very enjoyable, Thirasia refreshing, the dinner yummy, the sunset magnificent and Elena (the guide) and the rest of the crew just amazing! Make sure you don’t miss this! More

I went on this boat trip 1 year ago and I came back to santorini and did it again this year! I took the cable cars down to the port and the boat alone is so beautiful. It's an old spanish boat- it looks like a pirate ship. The excursion went to the volcano, hot springs, another area to swim,... More

Chose it based on the reviews on TA and was right once again. The email response was just too quick and detailed. They even added a hotel transfer for free, which tipped the scales in their favour and I'm glad we chose them. We forget to take our receipt/payment proof, but they didn't question us at all and graciously accepted... More

We heard of the Thalassa/Bell Aurora boat tour from the Hotel Astra, where we stayed for our honeymoon. It was the highlight of our trip! Price point was excellent at 50 Euros, We got to walk up the volcano for panoramic views, swim to the hot springs, trated to local foods while docked at a port, and watched the sunest... More

We did the sunset caldera cruise and volcano climb. We had snacks including cheese pies, sausages and salad items, and lovely greek wine. The music they play is fab and the commentary was good. And when you stop to watch the sunset at Oia, they put the sails up, stop the engine and you listen to the saxophone, it was... More

for a entirely different view of Oia, do it on the Thalassa. While the cruse ships do the city, we did it while drinking greek wine and beer. Imagine listening to a sax player while they raised 800m2 of sail on a 35 m mast. See the Caldera from the inside, visit the Nea Kameni volcano, than swim in the... More

An interesting and informative hike up the volcano. Can be hot on a warm day so take water! A visit to a hot spring and also the crystal clear waters at Thirasia. Capped off with a sail past Oia at sunset with snacks and a saxophone soloist. Unexpected value and a charming hostess and crew. More

This boat was a really fun activity for us. It's beautiful, a huge old wooden sailboat, and they actually use the sails at sunset, which was really cool. Our trip guide Elena was really great and very knowledgeable, and the others on staff on the boat were excellent as well. They take you to the volcano, and you can hike... More

My wife and I booked this tour (Thalassa boat) on the recommendation of our hotel staff. It starts at around 3pm, takes youto the Nea Kameni volcano where you trek up and hear the guide's interesting history of Santorini and surrounding islands. Then you're off to the hot springs where you can bathe in the warm waters while the Captain... More

Don´t miss this experience! I loved the sunset tour on board of Thalassa, with appropriate music, different songs for each moment, swimming in Hot Springs and the best: the gorgeous boat with the sails spread and the sound of the wind - just the sea and the boat! Much more fun: kindly staff, the explanation for the Caldera's formation by... More
