Sail away with us on a memorable voyage. You will board our authentic Brigantine Thalassa at the picturesque old port of Fira.We will set sail for the small port of the volcano. When we arrive your guide will lead you up to the rim of the volcanic crater where smoke rises up and the stones are hot to the touch. Remember to bring good walking shoes and a hat to protect you from the sun.Leaving the volcano, our ship heads for the “hot springs”. There you can bathe in the warm waters (don’t forget your bathing suite and towel) . During the remainder of our voyage, we pass by Thirassia, where you have the chance to swim again in the blue crystal cleal waters while the captain and his crew prepare plenty of traditional Greek meze (appetizers) and you’ll have the chance to taste the renowned wine from Santorini. Next we come to the northern tip of Santorini and the town of Ia with its two small seaports Ammoudi and Armeni. From our sailing boat we have a unique vantage point for viewing the lovely traditional settlement of Ia. Here you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then we will set the sails and head back to Fira enjoying the wine and live saxophone music as the sun magically sets into the sea. « less

My husband and I rented out the Thalassa, five years ago, the evening prior to our wedding. It only seemed right to sail on Thalassa again, this time with our three year old daughter. We'd never experienced the full volcano hike, swim, etc. and it was so much fun. The volcano hike is much more brutal than we anticipated, but... More

Kristina was a great guide, and the other crew also made the experience very memorable. The volcano walk is a bit taxing, the hills are steep and crumbly so you must wear sold shoes. My favourite part was probably the ocean swimming and jumping off the boat.

We enjoyed the afternoon and evening on Thalassa. Christina was amazing right from the start and the rest of the crew were just excellent. Christina ( my fellow Greek) explained our activities and she was much better than we expected. A real that on our last night in Santorini. The swim off the boat and the colour of the water... More

Santorini is a magic island especially if you see it by the sea. One of the most pittoresque boats for a daily trip around caldera is Thalassa. An educational walk up in the volcano, swimming in hot waters and my favourite place, the deep blue waters near Thirasia. We never felt like tourists there but like the part of a... More

We have just had our wedding on santorini, well actually on the ship, belle auroa. It was just fantastic, the crew was very sweet and nice, we had our own music with us on a memory stick, and they crew played the music just as we asked them to, the greek apetisers, was fantastic, and there were plenty, also the wine... We took the evening Sunset Cruise on the Thalassa. Our tour guide, Christina met us at the old port, under the arches. Warning... there may be very long lines for the cable car depending on the cruiseship schedules. It took us 30 minutes to get on it, so plan ahead. The boat is a fairly new replica of an old... More

On our last day in Santorini we took a cruise on the Thalassa. It was a wonderful way to end our trip. We had a wonderful time. We started by sailing to the volcano and climbing to the top. Our guide Christina was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the region. After that we went to the hot springs. We... More

I ´ve spent my holidays in Santorini, many times. Every time I find something new I like and remember why I love this island.I went on the daily excursion once more with my partner who visited Santorini for the first time. We both loved it and appreciated every minute. After my new discovery of Baxedes beach the previous days and... More

I booked this tour 3 weeks before out trip. This was the 7th trip to Santorini and the third for my husband. My first trip we did a day cruise but I wanted this cruise to be special and it was one of the highlights of this year's visit. The crew was very pleasant and cruising on this ship was... More

A great trip out. To see the volcano was okay but a good solid walk so proper shoes should be worn. The food was very good and we got a reasonable sunset. Great tour guide who actually ended up giving us a lift back to the hotel. One thing don't go out on a Wednesday as all the cruise ships... More
