While in Santorini, must visit Skaros - It is a rock with amazing views. A place to get a lot of photos

That you could see Santorini from a different vantage point. Great views and setting. Good for some wine at sunset but bring with you a flashlight for walking back at night

Loved this rock - SO many steps, so great for the legs, but this little trip will give you a great sense of adventure! We got about 1 metre from the top! I slightly chickened out of really going for it as I was worried I would not be able to get back down! but had such good fun figuring... More

After having discovered that The Rock was once the capital of Santorini and created by the Venetians, i had to visit. The remains and foundations of the buildings evidence what once was a great historic city in a spectacular setting! Great for spending an afternoon there and watching the sunset

Excellent work out for quads. No really, it was not that bad. The ruins are really cool and there are a bunch of neat surprises on the back side not to mention the view.

Once you find the path, its a trek down a steep and in places broken flight of steps. The rock itself is covered in ruins and the summit is only accessible with rock climbing skills. Take strong shoes, water and be good with heights if you want to visit here, but you will be rewarded with a fabulous view of... More

I had read the reviews and expected an easier walk/climb. It is a good workout and intense although you can go from La Maltese Hotel to Skaros in less than 30 minutes. The view from the top of the rock is AMAZING. I read reviews of people going up there at night although I did not do that and would... More

There are no extra signs of the hiking trail. But it is not difficult to find the way if you are on hiking path from Fira to Imerovigli. The path is not extra secured and it is made from two ways. First path leads to the back of the rock to a small but beautiful church with stunning view from... More
