Small town near Fira and we went there to watch the sun set, you could also see the cruise ships and yachts below in the water. Breathtaking

Stopped here for lunch one day. Nice Greek salad and tzatziki. Service was ok. Nice enough place but lacking in atmosphere.

Seeing the rock from the Caldera walk is amazing. Walking to the rock and climbing it was spectacular but finding the church behind the rock was magicall. It's so quiet and sacred where it is.

The views were breathtaking! Take the time to do this hike you wont regret it. Make sure you go all the way down to the church on the other side. It is well worth it. Just make sure you take plenty of water. It is not that easy of a hike and can get extremely hot. Again, well worth it!

Short walk from the main walking path witch stretch along the caldera side of the Santorini Island, you will find the Skaros Rock. It was very windy when we were there, and it was too steep for us to get all the way to the top. You,ll have to literally climb to get up. Take an early morning trip and... More

The hike can be hot without wind or a breeze so be prepared and dress appropriately. There are lots of stairs up and down and there is a lovely church on the far side of the rock. If you are going up top, be prepared for a small moment of intimidation, as you must pull yourself up to the top... More

I really enjoyed the walk out to the rock and down to the church on the other side, hard to believe that a castle was built there as there is almost nothing left! It's not easy to find the spot to walk down, make sure you take some water.

Take a walk to Skaros rock. Running or hiking shoes recommended. For the more adventurous hikers, there is a narrow crevice you can use to get to the top. Otherwise make the trek down to the church. Bring a camera. There are pictures a plenty to be taken.

Don't let the size or slope scare you away, we hiked the trail which is mostly steps in flip flops and had no problem. We did make it to the very top due to no sneakers on but take the path down the other side to the church for a real photo op.
