Limited choice of wine; food was not well presented and otherwise we thought of average quality. Service was acceptable and it does have a very good view over the caldera

Don't visit this the day after hiking Imerovigli to Oia the day before. Lots of steps but lovely view our hotel overlooked this and it was always pretty quiet.

It was a nice view, but not sure it was worth the hike up all those stairs on the way back! We did not make it to the very top of the rock as there did not seem to be a great path that looked safe enough and we are semi-athletic people.

This huge rock formation was sitting DIRECTLY in front of our hotel for our 6 days in Santorini, and we decided that on the last day we had to investigate...so glad we did! The main reason to do this is for the different view points of the volcano and also the main island itself...the short hike is not that difficult,... More

We walked up the rock and then down he path to a little church which has an amazing view. It was also great that it is not packed with many people in there.

Would definitely recommend this hike if you were looking for a few hours to do something other than lay out. It was hot the day we went so prepare well. The hike wasn't too bad, it was just that we had already hiked down to Fira and back so we were tired from that. The view from the church is... More

If you don't mind an outdoor step class, it's well worth the visit! And when you think that's it, you have another round of stairs that lead you to this adorable church perched on the cliff

This was a little hiking climb :) Most importantly wear good comfortable shoes! Flip flops are not the wisest choosy because there are lots of rocks to climb and stairs. The view as you are ascending is fantastic all around the caldera. You can see the north end at Oia to the south end. It's breathtaking! Once you get to... More

The view -- I was not there but I saw it from the sailing trip. It looks like it would be too much of a hike for someone like me with arthritic problems, but I imagine it would provide a great view of the caldera for those who did it by land.

Skaros rock its a great hike to do from Imerovigli. The walk down around the little streets of Imerovigli is great (try not to get lost), passing lots of alleys and beautiful hotels. Then you would start seeing the steps down until the small white chapel. From there is quite easy to go. The hike is not that easy, with... More
