Fantastic sightings and I really appreciated how they followed all the rules and regulations for the whale sightings. They also let us swim not to far from where the whales were. Amazing trip. Packed boat!

Super nice, clean boat with canopy for shade. Fruit snacks and water on the boat. No bathrooms on the boat. Two guides including captain, both spoke enough English to explain everything. Very safe experience. We saw whales and babies. No dolphins. Lots of birds. Water too murky for snorkeling but we swam off the boat. Very nature conscious and respectful... More

Had a wonderful time. Did the Caño Island snorkeling tour (full-day). Exciting boat ride to the island that included dolphins. Got in 2 sessions of snorkeling, swimming at the beach and a healthy, filling lunch. Saw dozens of species of fish and multiple hawksbill sea turtles. Pedro and Hans rocked it. We even got in some howler monkeys at the... More

I should start by stating that we were supposed to go with Bahia Ballena tours, but when we made it to the beach, they overbooked their boat. As a favor, Dolphin took us out on one of their boats with one other couple. The guide was very friendly and spoke English very well(unlike the "bilingual" guide from Bahia Ballena). The... More

We did a Day-Trip Fishingtour with Dolphin Tour. The equippment was very good, safe and the guide knows, where the fishingplaces are. We saw dophines and sea turtles. A highlight - the lunch at Isla Violina. What a lovely place. The lunch prepared by Dolphine Tour was excelent. In the end of the day we catched 3 big fishes. Thanks... More

Off in the distance the clouds were dark and forseen rain yet it passed us. Our tour guides were great and let us stand in the front of the boat to take photos of the surrounding dolphins. Bottled water was provided. One of the guides pointed out a turtle swimming in the water. We even took a side trip (not... More

I cannot review their trips but had a poor experience of customer service with this operator. I was trying to juggle tours and dates and around 1pm before the day my tour was booked I asked to move it out by a day. They said no explaining they had already incurred all the costs of my trip. I had no... More

We booked with Dolphin Tours to see the whales with friends. We had a wonderful 1/2 day tour with Dolphin Tours in Bahia Ballena de Osa,Puntarenas,Costa Rica. We arrived from Golfito about 30 minutes early and they were able to recommend a local soda for an excellent breakfast. Since we had been shopping the day before in the duty free... More

Booked the 3 hour whale and dolphin trip. Pick up from the hotel worked perfectly. Boat was new and felt extremely safe. First they showed us some great beaches, caves, island, birds. Then they got the call that whales had been spotted. 5 or 6 boats work together to improve the chance of finding something. We then sped across the... More

We did the half day dolphin/whale tour. They were very professional. Nice operation. The only problem I ran into is that I don't speak Spanish & they speak very little English. It would not have been an issue if I had known how to find them. Here is a tip- take 34 just past the 2nd BM in Uvita, turn... More
